Re: Embed Video in AHK Gui?

Coco; this is really cool.
Is this using an actual "player" for the movie ?
If yes, then is it possible to expose a time elapsed bar ?
Either way, thank you for posting.

Re: Keyword Prototype instead of Class

You guys are technical heavy weights; likely the heaviest round these parts. Me, not so much. I'm just a business puke who uses AHKScript to produce results quickly. As a business person however I am keenly interested in the "trajectory" of products. It feels like folks will turn around in a few yea...

Re: __Get in a Class

Wow, this is a tremendous help, Kon: I think that __Get is only invoked when no matching key is found Doh ! This was absolutely the FIRST time I "thought about it" that way. Jigga: Here is an example from the docs: I have read the Objects page scores of times and was concluding the exact same thing....

__Get in a Class

Hello all, The "what" and "why" of using classes makes sense. Having issue with the "how". In the example below, __Set appears to be invoked and now wondering how the __Get would be invoked ? Thanks for any help understanding. #SingleInstance , Force MyInstance := New MyClass MyInstance.key1 := "val...

Re: Displayig different-level elements of an object

Agreed. Each more intruiging than the last.

LinearSpoon's recursion makes good sense.

The simple inclusion of an asterisk "*" in the uname's example is curious.

uname; may we trouble you for an explanation of the asterisk's role as it seems not to work when absent ?

Thanks.

Hmmm... Can't tell if the irrelevant comment relates to the immediately preceding JSON thought or not. Assuming it relates to something else... ;) These are two examples with files and xml for which a JSON equivalent "seems" useful: FileRead , varInRam , Filename FileAppend , varInRam , Filename , E...

Hello lexikos, Thank you for taking a moment to respond. I have used "www.google.com" in place of "about:blank" if that is what you are referring with the following results: OS/Browser 7/IE10 XP/IE8 HTML Only click on file in desktop browser yes yes .navigate to file in activex shell.explorer yes ye...

XP SP3 32bit IE8 AHK_L Activex .Navigate works .Write fails

Hello AHKscripters, Before I lose my mind completely I am seeking confirmation that it is impossible to "document.Write" HTML/JavaScript to an Activex (shell.explorer) control from an AHK_L variable under Windows XP SP3 32bit IE8. ; this will work with javascript calls to google charts wb.Navigate( ...

Re: Writes to ActiveX using HTMLFile are continually appende

Yes, thank you again, that worked perfectly.

I've also discovered your amazing installer.ahk and can see where you used these methods with shell.explorer and the .document element.

Code: Select all

wb.Document.open()
wb.Document.write(html)
wb.Document.Close()

Writes to ActiveX using HTMLFile are continually appended

All of this code works ; add to gui Gui , Add , ActiveX , x8 y8 w128 h128 vguiThisHTML , HTMLFile However, if I call the "SUB" Label three (3) times, then the displayed ActiveX browser will stack all three (3) instances of the displayHTML variable.
