Re: Find second monday of each month

Aha, I see! I think a single space between month and date will do. I'll figure it out, now I know which line to focus on :) This is great, it works like a charm entirely thanks to you.
Many thanks for your excellent help tomoe_uehara :)

Re: Find second monday of each month

Okay, which part of code do you want to be explained further? Oh, you did beat me to it. Saw you were posting before I got the chance to. Thanks for your excellent description :) Did study your last script closer for some hours and do now understand which variables/values to pass to my function in ...

I was hoping you could tell me which line of code in the original script that stipulates particularly the fourth sunday (or monday) of each month to be choosen? I cant work that out from y...

Find second monday of each month

Hi! I found this "Find last sunday of each month" script and thought it was easy to modify it to find second monday of each month, but it wasn't. I changed it so the script finds mondays alright, but I'm not sure how to modify the calculation of the second monday of each month. Anyone knows? InputBo...

Re: Modify dmg's Log Out logger to standby/hibernate logger

Ok, this seems to work, based on trial and error. Dont know if it will work in every case though, know nada about C. However checking which params (integers) are returned and use them like this it works satisfying. #noenv #singleinstance, ignore setbatchlines, 10ms setworkingdir, %a_scriptdir% ;----...

Modify dmg's Log Out logger to standby/hibernate logger

Hi! Ok, now it's getting a bit too complicated for me. Firstly I'm on Win7 32-bit and dmg´s original script doesn't seem to log logouts correct when using 0x80000000. Instead it gets logged as a shutdown. If changing to the corresponding integer -2147483648 I get correct logging. Why is that? Second...

Re: Rare Filecopy Issue

Hmm ok, add some error logging in your script, so that when it fails, Log Errorlevel, A_LastError, etc. And thé command that the command that failed.. So that we may investigate further... Ok, added some errorlogging and i get an error 80 every time using the Filecopy file-loop even when filecopy w...

Re: Trimscript problems

Well, my second try: OMG, the script is fantastic! Results after extensive testing is amazing. Very impressive! It's far better than mine and takes care of things I wanted to have, but wasn't abled to do with my basic AHK knowledge. I must study the code closely and understand it, cuz i have diffic...

Re: Trimscript problems

I don't use AHK_H, but maybe this will be a sufficient substitution: Yes indeed, that was sufficient. Now it works :) As far as I understand the examples, existing <Cut> tags within the times specified to trim start and end are removed, all others are preserved. Right? Well, not removed necessarily...

Re: Rare Filecopy Issue

Aha, that will be interesting! Never used error logging before. It may take some time until the issue shows up though. Will report back when it does. Thanks joedf :)

Re: Trimscript problems

Wow, your script looks very clean and compact :) Unfortunately I can't run it due to a "call to nonexistent function" error at this line: Lines := StrSplit(VPrj, "`n", "`r") The variable Lines is green in notepad++. I do use AHK_H. In short words what the script is about, I have a couple of channels...

Trimscript problems

I did write a trimscript for Comskip videoredo project files. I got excellent help from AlphaBravo writing the regex code, which is like learning Greek to me and much too hard. I did conditioning the script dealing with all the different cases that was presented during the testing period. However I ...

Re: Rare Filecopy Issue

Hmm ok, I see I will investigate soon... Maybe if you tried 'XCOPY'? Hmm, XCOPY isn't a AHK command. I suppose you mean calling xcopy via comspec? Well, I think i'll stick with my minor change of approach I did mention. Time will tell if I get files copied to root or not. Thanks joedf! You could tr...

Re: Rare Filecopy Issue

Does the folder exist? How big are the files? Have you tried a file-loop? Yes the folder exists. Out of 100 copy sessions maybe 1 fails and it's then the copies ends up in the root directory. The size of each file is small (1kb), but the database files are quite many..at least 6000 in source folder...
