Re: Tooltip does not display correctly

Hi colmik, the reason suggested that, is that one of the things I would see is the selection highlight would be down and to the right if the DPI was set to greater than 100%. The distance becoming greater with each loop or use of the same subroutine. On a couple of GUI building programs the placemen...

Re: Tooltip does not display correctly

Hi colmik: Try this, right click your Desktop and click Personalize, in left column click Display. You will see radio buttons that say: Smaller- 100% or Medium -125% or Larger-150% , well something like that. Is the smallest one checked? If not, check the smallest and click apply. See if that fixes ...

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

Hi Alguimist: AutoGUI just gets better and better, I'm sure many appreciate all your hard work. Scaling problems are seen at higher than normal DPIs. Found this right after I tried your first version. Had seen the same thing the year before on another GUI builder. I put these changes in your first v...

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

Hi Alguimist: Thanks for the fast reply, see the reasoning now. I'm getting too old and lazy, thought I could save some typing of the labels and their returns. Plus not having to remember the label name. I could have saved a post if I did a little more testing. Thanks again for straightening me out....

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

Alguimist: Great work, it the best I have seen and keeps getting better. One feature seems to be broken in version 1.1.0: In Properties window the g-Label is put in the controls option field when the Apply button is hit; as before. But now the Target label and its return do not get built in script, ...

Re: Buttons turn blue after clicking

TLM, that does the job nicely. You really dig into those style codes. just me, you nailed it, this should make the op happy. Had looked at GuiControl before and never saw the -default option, or if so it didn't register. Too many senior moments of late. Thank you both for the learning experiance. hu...

Re: Buttons turn blue after clicking

Hi TLM, that works on my win7 and win8 sys., until you add a gsub to the button or click on the menu window. If you could try it ; maybe just a msgbox, because it would be nice to know if it is just the users win setups. Myself and others did alot of looking into this a couple of years ago with no r...

Re: Buttons turn blue after clicking

Hi talormanda , You won't be able to, it is a windows thing. Which is also why you can't change color from MS's ugly default off white. There are some scripts on this site to change color but all/most use tic's Gdip lib. IMHO to much code for a few keys. I would do this, change these 2 lines from : ...

Re: Problem when Right Click on Systray Icon

Hi Sperafico, try this:

Put "Menu, Tray, NoStandard" as first item, so it's above "Menu, Tray, add, Configuration".
Think maybe it's starting another thread before the NoStandard is executed.

Re: Minimize Program to Tray ?

hi pasc, welcome to the world of ahk, lot of fun. I think the 1st answer isn't what you want as its for the taskbar. But try these links: http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/MinimizeToTrayMenu.htm This one hides the icon so it doesn't show on the tray. It hides and unhides with hotkeys. Easy enou...

Re: Menu with underlined letters - possible bug

Hi think, glad to see you are now happy. The rmouse key works for me the same as HotKeyIt. If you look up the tilde key in the docs you will see that from AHK v1.1.14 on its action has been changed some. They give an example with the rmouse key. Had 2 failure to underline in about 100. Changed hotke...

Hi PuzzledGreatly, try this. Re: How to create a 1x1 semi-transparent png?

Hi tmplinshi, you might want to try this, it's based on tic's gdi+ ahk tutorials. Didn't look at the code too close, there may be some that can be removed. I took out all his fine comments, because they would be out of sequence. Also I think I stole enough. It uses your sharing-ice-cream-cone.jpg Ke...

Hi danger, you can take a look at this . Little add to just me's test script. #NoEnv #Include <Class_ImageButton> ; you have to include the class, it's expected to be in the script folder Gui, Destroy Gui, +AlwaysOnTop Gui, -Caption +LastFound Gui, Color, F0F0F0, F0F0F0 ;added Mar 3,2014 hunter99 tr...

Re: [Class] ImageButton

Hi danger, did you check Line 3 in the sample ahk script?
The orig had this #Include Class_ImageButton_1_1.ahk , if so remove the _1_1 at the end.
Should now work.

Re: Strange List View Delete Behavior LV_Delete() [ solved ]

Hi TLM, here is a way without the array. Commented out the ClearDebug and removed the ref. to deb. Left in a couple of msgboxs, which can be removed. Got most of the code right from the docs. Had a lot of fun playing with it so I though I would pass it on. hunter totalrows = 10 Gui, Add, ListView, C...
