Re: AutoHotkey Startup (Consolidate AHK Scripts' Tray Icons)

I find that when I reload a script after editing it using the Hotkey Help menu, it adds an icon to the tray. Am I right that the way around that is instead of reloading the edited script to reload the full Startup from HH? So far when using Startup, I have only two icons in the tray, Startup and the...

Re: AutoHotkey Startup (Consolidate AHK Scripts' Tray Icons)

I don't know it I'm doing something wrong or if there's a problem somewhere else, but I've been unable to get the new version of the script working. Even when I put just a single script name between the continuations, using the identical format that works in the first version, so that it looks like ...

Re: AutoHotkey Startup (Consolidate AHK Scripts' Tray Icons)

@Guest10 If I understand what you're asking, it's possible to do that if you also use FG's Hotkey Help script (see his sig.) It's useful on its own but makes a really great pairing with the Startup script (having them both running, its easy to forget that they're actually 2 diff scripts!), and it le...

Re: AutoHotkey Startup (Consolidate AHK Scripts' Tray Icons)

Thank you for this. Makes life much easier. I initially was having a problem where this one script was not getting loaded. It turned out to be a problem with the scripts name: explorer paths.ahk. When I changed it to expxlorerpaths.ahk, it worked fine. It wasn't the space. Something about one or bot...

Re: Toggle case of letter

Hey I appreciate those replies and the example code. Each gave me different results. I wasn't able to get the first to work. I don't know why. When I ran the script, it copied successive characters to the clipboard and advanced to the right. But it behaved inconsistently when I ran it. Here is the t...

Toggle case of letter

I'm trying to do something in AHK that I do in MS Word's VBA, and I can't figure it out. Here's the Word macro code . It toggles the case of a single character. Sub ToggleCase() With Selection .MoveRight Unit:=wdCharacter, Count:=1, Extend:=wdExtend .Range.Case = wdToggleCase .MoveRight Unit:=wdChar...

AHK's documentation.

Can the docs at http://ahkscript.org/docs/AutoHotkey.htm be searched, other than through google? I can't stand using the chm help, and the html one here has no search (unless I'm really missing something... didn't it used to?) Now that I think about it: Is it possible to download or otherwise obtain...

Re: Using Windows key + number as hot key

OK I think I figured it out. I knew something was strange because for the last few weeks I've been using ^+#1 to open a frequently used folder in Explorer. But for the entire time since I first assigned that macro to that key combination, I've had a taskbar shortcut in that first position -- it's pr...

Using Windows key + number as hot key

Hey. I would like to use the Windows key as part of a hot key trigger. This works fine, except for one problem. I am finding that if the key itself is a number, e.g., ^!#3, then what happens when I press that key combo is that the system attempts to run the 3rd item in my taskbar. If that item is a ...

Re: Setup Notepad++ for AutoHotkey

However, I have a workaround that I use and maybe it will work for you. Change that line of code to: ^':: Send {LEFT 1}"{RIGHT 1} ;" The second quotation mark will tell NP++ to stop coloring things red after it, and AHK will ignore it because it's commented out. Hope that helps! Hey RiseUp. Thanks ...

Re: Setup Notepad++ for AutoHotkey

Hey thanks. This is what I was hoping to find here. I've been using SciTE but would prefer to use NPP. But I'm finding something odd. an ahk script that appears fine in SciTE, and that AHK loads without complaint, is showing up as an error in AHK. And it's a very simple thing too. This... ^':: Send ...
