Re: WinStructs - Windows Structure definitions for _Struct

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT I changed the naming convention back to match exactly as it appears on MSDN. My rationale, as it appears in the header for the file: The reasons for this are two-fold. 1) The immediately obvious thing to do is to strip the lower case prefixes, however in some cases this would...

Re: AHK version / test build switcher?

Sorry, either I am not getting something or this isn't what I want. As far as I was aware, all scripts that you launch, by default, use AutoHotkey.exe Without naming it specifically (which is out of the question), I see no way to alter what version of AHK it runs under, other than deleting AutoHotke...

Re: AHK version / test build switcher?

OK, but that would mean that if you wanted to run a script with a diff version of ahk, you would need to rename the script?

Or could some method be used to redirect all scripts to use a certain AHK EXE?

Re: AHK version / test build switcher?

Yeah, but I am not talking about compiling, I am talking about uncompiled scripts.

Re: AHK version / test build switcher?

Hmm, are you talking about the section at the end that shows how to use the AHK installer silently?

The test builds just come as a zip containing file names like AutoHotkey111902_17_gcd46158_a.exe, there is no installer.

AHK version / test build switcher?

Has anyone written a utility that lets you easily switch between a number of different AHK versions? Yes, I know that the AHK installer is pretty good in this regard, but the test builds come as 3 EXEs, and switching between different test builds / released versions etc requires renaming files manua...

Re: File In/-OutPut Virtualization

Yeah, current plan was to use a RAMdisk for normal writes, then switch to an actual disk on exit.

Re: $40 bounty Need script to stop mouse cursor moving on to

If the existing attempts do not work, let me know, I think I could do this using low level windows hooks to stop the event from ever happening, but I won't bother if someone else has already collected the bounty.

Re: File In/-OutPut Virtualization

I have been wanting something along a similar lines for a while, but I am still not quite sure if this does what I want. What I would like is a way for scripts which use a settings file (INI or whatever) to be able to "write" to the INI file without using the disk. Reason being that I (and many othe...

Re: Configurable spam script

as soon as the code encounters a hotkey, it stops the "auto-execute" section.

so after a=0, no code will execute when the script starts

take a := 0 and put it at start of your script.
Put the rest at the end

Re: WinStructs - Windows Structure definitions for _Struct

WinStructs now has a new friend! AHK-SizeOf-Checker (Requires compiler from Visual Studio) This library can create and compile C code in order to perform a check that the size of a structure created with _Struct matches the size of the struct in actual C code ie it checks whether sizeof(SOME_STRUCT)...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

I just had R4ndom1 in IRC saying he was having trouble downloading Scite - he was getting "Connection terminated". He was able to download from my site, so I am not sure if there is an issue with the main hosting, but I had no problems. Just in case, my mirror link is: http://evilc.com/files/tmp/Sc...

Crashes when I try to retrieve a value, though I am not sure I am doing it right. Not sure how (or if) I am meant to handle the array. HID.HidP_GetButtonCaps(0, pButtonCaps, Caps.NumberInputButtonCaps, PreparsedData) btns := pButtonCaps[1].Range.UsageMax - pButtonCaps[1].Range.UsageMin + 1

Re: Questions about DllCall's

Duh, stupid typo with that comma, good catch.

Still not working though, but I suspect that is due to me not quite understanding how to use _Struct properly.

Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript

Yes, I have to agree somewhat. I certainly think either breaking it down to separate groups or having some kind of naming convention would make sense. I am a little wary of changing project names though, as that might break people's includes (well it may break the way I do mine - an include file in ...

Configurable spam script

This script was borne from a discussion with Harry in IRC, but I quite liked the end solution, so I thought I would share. What was required was a script that would spam the keys you were holding, with some conditions. For example: if you hold 1, it spams 1. If you then hold a modifier without relea...
