[Solved I guess] SetSystemCursor no longer working on Windows 10

I've been using this code https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/32608-changing-the-system-cursor/ for years and it's worked beautifully. But on my windows 10 computer it no longer seems to change the cursor. Here's some other information that might be helpful to someone smarter than me: I regularly use...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Thanks for noticing guys. I made a few other updates to the documentation. I added some examples of how I use findclick to maybe give you some ideas.

I also uploaded it to GitHub!! yay. Find it here: https://github.com/berban/FindClick

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

FindClick("%A_Desktop%\CAPTURE.PNG") You gotta treat this as an expression which is the case for any function in AutoHotkey. FindClick(A_Desktop "\CAPTURE.PNG") See https://autohotkey.com/docs/Variables.htm#Expressions for more clarification on the difference between AutoHotkey literal statements (...

Re: Issues With Double-Tap Hotkey

Try something like this: *LShift:: Keys = wasd ; list of keys Loop, Parse, Keys ; check each key in the list If GetKeyState(A_LoopField, "P") { ; check if that key is pressed SendInput {%A_LoopField% up} ; A_LoopField has the current key Sleep, 50 SendInput {%A_LoopField% down} Sleep, 50 SendInput {...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Hey movermeyer, I think you have a simple misunderstanding about how the options parameter is supposed to be used. It's supposed to be like the GUI options where you might have x10 y20 gMyLabel. The important distinction is you shouldn't use commas in between the option name and the value (i.e. You ...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

I believe you're just missing a comma in the first example. It should look like this:

Code: Select all

FindClick("d:\tmp\search\tower.png", "stay1", xCoord, yCoord)

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

I tweaked a couple of lines to keep the problem from happening. The original download link should be updated. Let me know if you are still having problems :)

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Thanks Vizzy! I'm on the train right now and don't have time to dive into the code but from first glance I am almost positive it's a bug with the a-m option. That's actually something I've never used myself which makes it more likely to have a bug I never noticed. I'm glad you find the feature helpf...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

For instance if I added the option w500,50 I was under the impression that would wait 500ms total, checking every 50ms for a total of 10 checks. However when I add this and run in diagnostic mode I get this: http://imgur.com/6KS1kke Hey Vizzy! That is really strange and definitely not the intended ...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Hey Darth_Diggler, I originally wanted to add something like that to the script but never got around to it. It would also have been pretty involved. So I guess the short answer is no I don't have that feature and am not planning on adding it unfortunately, sorry. Also personally I use mspaint for ed...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Absolutely. Say your image is 21 pixels wide and 11 pixels tall. Here would be an example in that case: Random, RandX, -10, 10 ; the default place to click is in the center of the image. so -10 would offset 10 pixels to the left of the center and +10 would offset 10 pixels to the right of the center...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Hey Chunjee , Thanks for the kind words! To be honest, I've hardly done any work with AutoHotkey objects and I don't really use AutoHotkey or code in general too much anymore so I don't think I'll be making a major change like that anytime soon (but if someone else wants to tackle it be my guest.) B...

Re: FindClick() - ImageSearch, Clicking, & More [Newest Version]

Hey Remonell ! I made a minor update to address some of your issues. When I create a png with your tool, and right after that click on 'Test', I assume that it searches for that just created png anywhere on my 2 monitors. Unluckily it does not find it in the test, although it does find it with my sc...

Re: eGet() - Grab Internet Explorer Elements Easily

Hey rommmcek , sorry I've been on vacation for a bit. Question 1: How to navigate to the next page This site is a bit unusual because there's no next button, which to be honest I'm not sure if I've ever seen. However, never fear, it can still be done in one line: eGet("div", "", "div className=""gsc...

Re: eGet() - Grab Internet Explorer Elements Easily

So the first part of the first parameter is the tag name as you seem to understand (note, you don't need "TagName=" even though it seems to work for you.) So putting a "*" instead of "a" which I have in the example will look at all tags. But for this example at least this isn't necessarily desirable...

Re: eGet() - Grab Internet Explorer Elements Easily

Sorry bout that! I had a bunch of other functions that I made before (including those two) as part of my "library" but decided to just include these main ones in the forum post. I removed their references from the code just to simplify things (I never use them anyway) but you can download the whole ...

eGet() - Grab Internet Explorer Elements Easily

I use this code to make simple macros for internet explorer, which I still use out of habit. For example, this simple script allows you to quickly move to the next page in a google search, forum thread, or almost any variety of sites: #IfWinActive ahk_class IEFrame ; if an internet explorer window i...
