Re: differ between same key on different devices?

It may be helpful but also may not be. FYI: RawInput is what AHKHID uses (AHKHID is basically a wrapper for it), and the Mousedelta class used in that thread is a more specific wrapper of RawInput calls. You may notice that AHKHID & the Mousedelta class use some of the same dllcalls, constants, etc ...

Re: differ between same key on different devices?

Hi Rhino Cracker, The most likely reason you're not getting a name when using the mouse Browser Search button, is due to it being generated via the device driver (I'm assuming the keyboard one works as expected). It's likely similar to how you said you had to stop other scripts, in that although you...

Re: SC070&Up::Volume_up ignored the &Up part

I've found that SC070 & Up::Send {Volume_up} works the way I wanted but I don't know why Send is necessary when SC070::Volume_up works just fine. Seems you found the issue then. It was the "remap key" syntax being used, which is kind of a shorthand which when used converts the remap to hotkeys (as ...

Re: system hotkeys that can't be overridden

jeeswg, #g in windows 10 does it's native function also (Open Game Bar). You can turn off the game bar in windows 10's settings so that particular hotkey doesn't do anything, but essentially you can't block windows from seeing it, you can only stop it from doing something when it occurs. Edit: FYI, ...

Re: SC070&Up::Volume_up ignored the &Up part

Yeah, that's due to the * prefix. Combo hotkeys can't have a prefix (other than ~ to allow passing the native key function through). In your instance the prefix isn't required as, combo hotkeys will fire when the two keys are pressed regardless of if a modifier key is pressed or not (i.e. they autom...

Spaces before and after & in the hotkeys should do it, if it doesn't, add a space after the :: as well.

Re: Functions - Multiple Values Return! Topic is solved

Short answer, Yes. Longer answer, the "Msgbox, % Test.id ..." line is already doing it, as Test is just the object returned from A(), so A() only needs to be called once, if you assign it's returned value to a variable. In other words, (in case you're thinking along these lines), Test := A() doesn't...

Re: Data = Error? fix Topic is solved

Several issues with this script. First, FileAppend, there isn't a file defined for it so it doesn't do anything, and it's probably not what you want anyway and that should probably be deleted. Second, set timer, why? and zero period and before the ini file is read. Also the label CookiesCounter is p...

Re: Keyboard LED control

Hi Autobot, bummer that function stopped working for you, still working for me (I think, no problems so far at least, also Win 10). Anyway, it looks like that code project code is using RawInput, there is an AHK lib called AHKHID which you could use for the same purpose, which, can be found here: ht...

Re: help with improving script to run program files (x86)

Personally I'm not convinced this is an issue with there being a space as there is also a space between "Program" & "Files" meaning it it was entirely due to spaces, then it would probably be navigating to C:\Program instead. Also assuming addr := ExtractAddress(clip) does in fact equate to addr := ...

Re: Find hardware button codes

To be honest I'm not certain it can be done. I've tried and failed to get the raw inputs for things other than mapped keys, but in your instance, that's not the real problem as even if you could get them, you'd still actually have no way of triggering the assigned macro. The only ways to trigger tho...

Re: Find hardware button codes

While I'm not 100% sure what you're actually asking, perhaps this will help, Generally speaking, the keys/buttons on a razer/logitech peripheral don't have a vk/sc until they are mapped to something, then you only pick up the vk/sc of the key/button they are mapped to, i.e. the native un-mapped butt...

Re: OneDrive On-demand sync

Ok, thanks for the update teadrinker, confirms what I kind of suspected but was a bit too lazy to test :). So the file is also marked as stored locally (which makes sense). Makes me wonder if it actually keeps the file stored locally indefinitely, or if there is some kind of time frame where it is l...

Re: OneDrive On-demand sync

teadrinker, It's a new feature added with the windows fall update, build 16299.19, which was released 17 October. MS apparently staggers the release of the "feature" updates for downloading via auto-update, but there are ways to get it earlier (google it if you want to force the update). Personally ...

Re: OneDrive On-demand sync

Yeah, I'm not sure what you're after either. I'm actually wondering if your confused about what On-Demand sync actually is (or perhaps I am), my understanding is you don't need to do anything to do it, other than access a file from explorer, and it's explorer that handles it, if/when the file isn't ...

wow thanks, it worked, but I was wondering what's the other way you told I can do it ? Ok sorry, Class1, I got a little side tracked. What I meant was there are several ways you could do this, and I'm not sure what you're actually trying to accomplish. By that I mean I'm not really sure the code it...
