Re: Need to display strings instead of a hotkey label using tooltip Topic is solved

Hi Helgef, Well you are correct, but in my mind it isn't really helpful to newer users of ahk to complicate things like that. For simplicity sake I think it's easier to think in terms of Array (on it's own) to mean simple/linear array's, and if you're talking Associative Array's or Pseudo Arrays, th...

Re: Script causes mouse to get stuck

The script works fine, the issue (I presume) is you've made a typo, and then copy & pasted that typo in you're simplified script, and also didn't see divenababa's edit two posts ago regarding this line: mouseclick, left, %c%, %v%,c 1, 0 i.e. The clickcount parameter is c 1 which I figure is 7601 cli...

Re: Need to display strings instead of a hotkey label using tooltip Topic is solved

FYI, you're using an object not an array, technically the object you've commented as an array isn't really an array as an array wouldn't have named keys (i.e strings as keys). To put it simply an array (in ahk terms) is still an object but it's an object which only contains numbered keys. The issue ...

Re: Creating a wrapper for interception.dll (fixed and working!) Topic is solved

The gun inputs are never actually unblocked, they are only ever sent via proxy, at the timings that I was led to believe they needed to be. If the coordinates are incorrect, then you'll have to work out why (I can't test any of this, I don't have a light gun or any other device that resembles one, o...

Re: Creating a wrapper for interception.dll (fixed and working!) Topic is solved

Try putting the same line both before and after the flasher, the issue IMO is the flasher needs to be given coordinates to flash (I guess) so put it before flasher, then I'm not sure what the issue is if it's only before the flasher, but if there is an issue, and you think it needs a report after th...

Re: Can any of these 5 functions cause "Out of memory" error?

I'm not exactly sure why the script malfunctions, and without the full code I'd have no way of being sure, for example, you mention gdip being used but there is no mention of it being used in the posted code. Essentially the memory being used in the way indicated by the graph suggests that there is ...

Re: Creating a wrapper for interception.dll (fixed and working!) Topic is solved

Yes, the last scripts essentially track mouse movements until the trigger is pulled. When that happens that device isn't tracked again until the trigger is released. It does this by sending a message to the other script, which stores the coordinates, but the message only sends when the trigger is re...

Re: Creating a wrapper for interception.dll (fixed and working!) Topic is solved

Mouse coordinates are gotten from where you have the comment, but they aren't only coordinates, they are events, so it may be a movement event or may be button press or may be a different mouse device, hence the checks afterwards. The actions associated with movement (after filtering on device) are ...

Re: A little Bug about NumPut

I guess "MyVar=12345678" has placed the string in the variable address, It may help to think of variables as always being numbers unless they in no way can be numbers and so must be a string. Just saying as it seems you expect the opposite. Personally I can't fathom how MyVar=12345678 could be inte...

I wonder in light of this if MS will come to the realization that a simple UI based way to uninstall these forced apps, is perhaps something they shouldn't have removed.

Re: Troubles with 'n Topic is solved

You seem to be using 'n (which is " when shifted) instead of `n (which is ~ when shifted). The first won't work the second will. The shifted characters may be different depending on your keyboard layout but most likely won't be.

Re: Keyboard macro won't send to certain application Topic is solved

There's a couple of possibilities that spring to mind, Might be permissions - i.e. it could be that the application is running at a higher privilege level than the script try with script running a admin. Might be the send mode - some apps don't like input mode, despite it being the most reliable, th...

jeeswg, In the other thread you're talking about this behavior not being documented, only I believe it is. Ironically you linked this page in that discussion, only it appears, you either didn't read the section immediately below the passage you mentioned, or you comprehend it differently than I do. ...

Ok thanks Capn, I probably stuffed up when I last tested forcing expressions with send, which was several years ago when I was a noob at ahk and, have just been coding around it since, good to know.

Re: Creating a wrapper for interception.dll (fixed and working!) Topic is solved

Yes you can, but regarding the C# wrapper for interception, I think evilC has only done keyboard stuff in the wrapper at this stage, and hasn't done the mouse stuff, so it's keys only unless you use the ahk wrapper (which would require you to read up on how it would be done via interception natively...

Re: Combining variables and when to use %

Yeah, It can be kind of confusing, The rule of thumb I use is if the command isn't expecting a variable as an argument you'll need to use %'s. I generally prefer to Force an Expression (percent followed by space), MouseMove, % px, % py ; instead of enclosing i.e. %var% as it also allows proper expre...

Re: problem with turn on and off keybind

Ok. I'm not sure if you've read the documentation I linked above or not, my guess is you're just having trouble understanding it. you need to change "~2:: Suspend, Toggle", to be "~2:: Suspend, Off". If you're confused about it, try to remember the On/Off/Toggle is talking about the Suspend command ...

Re: Keywait has Delay?

My p key does indeed have a scancode of 019, it isn't that. Bottom line is just add a new hotkey with the Keyhistory command and look at exactly whats happening when you do it. My recommendation is don't map hotkeys which only produce letters on an up keystroke to often typed keys (especially letter...
