Re: Wenn/Dann Abfrage in Abhängigkeit eines Wochentages Topic is solved

Du kannst das Kommando FormatTime mit der Option WDay nutzen, um den aktuellen Wochentag zu ermitteln. Abhängig davon kannst du dann ja wie du selbst geschrieben hast die zu addierende Zahl ermitteln

Re: ListView with specific ImageIcon

In the subroutine Readfile you create for each line a new image list . Iirc there should be only one for a LV. You might also take a look at splitpath. It is more r robust then substrating 4 characters from the end of the file You are using the GUI to store all information. I would recommend you to ...

Thanks, it's a typo. in a previous version I had stored them in the class and used it in the ReadStdOut method.

Re: StdOutToVar with alternating threads

Thanks a lot. Update: - fixed the above mentioned shortcommings - added WorkingDir as an optional parameter for run() File = %A_ScriptDir%\test.ahk Script = (% Loop, 10 { Sleep 2000 OutputDebug, OutputDebug %A_Index%``n FileAppend, StdOut %A_Index%``n, * FileAppend, StdErr %A_Index%``n, ** } ) FileD...

Re: StdOutToVar with alternating threads

I think I got a fairly decent class now. Callback function and callback period get defined on new() and the timer to read the stdout is set when a cmd gets run(). Any improvement suggestions? File = %A_ScriptDir%\test.ahk Script = (% Loop, 10 { Sleep 2000 OutputDebug, OutputDebug %A_Index%``n FileAp...

Re: StdOutToVar with alternating threads

I tried to create a class, it works. It was easy to have a Exists() method to check if a stream is currently running. But the ease of use got degredated, in my opinion. I had to create a bound function for the timer to get the instance of the class transferred into the function. And inside the timed...

StdOutToVar with alternating threads

Lately I had two topics in this forum. One was to close StdOutToVar process The other was on alternating threads With the answers I got on these two topics I was able to create the below script. It basically has 3 functions: StdOutStream() StdOutStream_Read() StdOutStream_Kill() The question I have ...

Re: Alternating threads

Dear Holger, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I can not use different timer to alternate. The real actions take a longer time to finish. I only use loops with sleep to simulate the real action. Therefore I use a negative period for the settimer to start a different thread. Since both threads ...

Re: How to close a stdoutstream

I combined the two versions of the scripts and added my own flavor. File = %A_ScriptDir%\test.ahk Script = (% Loop, 10 { Sleep 2000 OutputDebug, OutputDebug %A_Index%``n FileAppend, StdOut %A_Index%``n, * FileAppend, StdErr %A_Index%``n, ** } ) FileDelete, %File% FileAppend, %script%, %File% cmd = %...

Alternating threads

I would like the two threads to alternate. But with the below code the original thread starts until it gets interrupted by the timed function. The original thread resumes when the second thread has ended. What do I have to do to have them both interrupt each other when the current active thread is i...

Re: How to close a stdoutstream

Thanks a lot teadrinker , I was aware that it was not 64 bit compatible and changed it in the meantime, but thanks for the updated version. I realize that there were 2 differences: 1) the PID wasn't read out of the Startupinfo 2) the %A_ComSpec% /c prevented to close the process There is also a diff...

There is also stdouttovar() or if the process takes a little longer to finish stdoutstream(). Just search the forum.

How to close a stdoutstream

I would like to close a running stdoutstream process while it is running. How can this be done? I have this code as a prototype: It creates a temporary file that writes periodically to OutputDebug, stdout and stderr. While it is running, you can hit F2 to close it midway, but it doesn't close the pr...

Re: Disabling ListView Checkboxes

Since altsubmit is used for the listview the label LV is called more often. Based an the info provided chktype identies what the check status of the elements should be. See manual on Listview regarding g label notifications (secondary) In your example the Lines 3 & 8 are hard coded into the chktype....

Re: StdOut and StdErr streams without using a file

Thank you both , I wasn’t aware of that function. I will take a look at it.

Edit: Oops: I did reply to the original function 12 years ago.... I had forgotten about it... thanks for helping me to remember. The stream version seems promising to fulfill what I’m looking for.
