Re: Gui in a class

Why not? I don’t understand. You could try it: Thanks for the example. I did. But why? While reading the docs, I came across __CAll(). This would be an alternative approache to callback function. Something similar to: NOT WORKING CODE ;https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=68912 ;b...

Re: Gui in a class

Within clear() this.clear := “” is called. What does it do? It doesn’t seem to be required, since I do not see that this.clear is holding any class/boundfunction.

Wouldn’t this.clear() work?
__Delete get’s called when the instance gets deconstructed, right?

What is the benfit to have a nested class for the events? Wouldn’t it be possible to have the events handled directly in the MyGUI class?

Re: Gui in a class

Thanks again. I understand the principle now. How would I get information back from the Gui when it is closed? Should I provide a callback function when I create a new instance of the GUI so if the GUI get's closed the information on the GUI gets transferred to the callback function? Or is there ano...

Gui in a class

I've searched the forum, but with "gui in class" too many hits appeared and I couldn't find what i wanted, I'm looking for example code of a class that has a simple Gui, with some controls and buttons. I want to use a class to edit some properties in a gui. Since I have different properties I would ...

Re: Switch Bug!

I”m on the road and only have my phone, hence I can”t test.
But I see that you are double referencing in your last example.
I do not have experience with switch yet, thus I do not know if it double references.

Re: Free Book for the AutoHotkey Curious: "Why AutoHotkey?"

Thanks for sharing. Quite a lot of text. I like the idea of explaining why someone needs AHK. Bu there is also one criticism: the book contains quite a lot of duplicated passages. Why it is true that the same feature of AHK can be useful for different user groups. I would have expected that the exam...

Re: Mehrere ListViews in Tab3s Topic is solved

Re: Excel Help

Regarding you original question. Clicking coordinates are simple but as you discovered also not very robust. This it is not recommended. The most robust way with Excel is to use the COM interface. If you search the forum for this it will bring up several examples. Regarding positioning the windows t...

Re: Wenn/Dann Abfrage in Abhängigkeit eines Wochentages Topic is solved

Du kannst das Kommando FormatTime mit der Option WDay nutzen, um den aktuellen Wochentag zu ermitteln. Abhängig davon kannst du dann ja wie du selbst geschrieben hast die zu addierende Zahl ermitteln
