Only way I can think of, is if you track the amount of time the mouse was held down, or periodically sent a Ctrl+c.

Re: Monitoring clipboard/or selection for a given string

Hi menteith,

Have you looked at OnClipBoardChange?

If you put your code in it, with some modification, it would fire whenever you copied something.

GreaseMonkey Script to highlight Topics with zero posts on the Forum

I like to answer topics with zero posts, so I made a Greasemonkey script to color the number of posts red if it's zero. // ==UserScript== // @name Autohotkey Highlight Zero posts in topic // @namespace jtest // @include https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewforum.php?f=* // @version 1 // @grant none // ...

Re: Is possible detect I am execute new program?

It is pretty useful I wanna make such Application force to single instance. but may I ask you a question. "get a list of the current processes every X amount of time and compare that list to the last list." Would it took really high Memory or CPU usage...it sounds not that good ? (I dont know, mayb...

Re: Switching top application using Graphics tablet pen

Hi califauna, Here is a script to check out, I modified it from one that was for differentiating keyboards: Notes: You'll need to change the TARGET_DEVICE_NAME to match your tablets I'm checking for both 67 and 3 on the flags because my tablet showed 3 not 67. uncomment deviceInfo() if you need more...

Re: Auto save an web image and not overwrite Topic is solved

Hi DavidG,

You can indeed use UrlDownloadToFile and SetTimer for this task, try the below out:

Code: Select all

#Persistent
SetTimer, WebcamSave, 900000 ; 15 min
return

WebcamSave:
  UrlDownloadToFile, "some url here", %A_Now%_webcam.png
return
By using A_Now the filename is unique.

Re: handling the password encrypting?

Hi Kamal Awasthi, I see that the LC_VxE_Encrypt89() function has a companion LC_VxE_Decrypt89() function, if the script can decrypt the password I think a human could too. It appears that there is also a key involved so that would probably be required too. ; This agorithm was developed by [VxE] in J...

Hi DylanA,

Are you running the .ahk and .exe from the same directory?
I would add more logging, you will find the issue that way.

Re: Communication with greasemonkey/tampermonkey?

Hi Pr07o7yp3, You could try: Make greasemonkey create a pop up and have AutoHotkey watch for it/read the text. Make greasemonkey go to a specific url i.e. 'http://localhost/runScriptX' while using AHKhttp - HTTP Server Make greasemonkey change the url and try to read it via AutoHotkey. I think the s...

Re: Can you make Dragon NaturallySpeaking talk using an autohotkey script?

Hi aShai, I wasn't able to find much information but it looks like Dragon Naturally Speaking has COM interface, which is good news. Here , and here are two examples of using this interface with AutoHotkey. The second examle has the more recent syntax, you don't want to use the 'COM Standard Library'...

Re: Is possible detect I am execute new program?

Hi dsewq1LYJ, You could use SetTimer to get a list of the current processes every X amount of time and compare that list to the last list. That would give you a list of new processes. Or you could look into PsSetCreateProcessNotifyRoutineEx . You could then Suspend those processes until you allowed ...
