Re: Buffer keyboard input

I think I posted such code here.

Edit: Oh, critical humour! I deciphered the "Nerrenbeschwerung"! I except it! I read very fast, code very fast and post very fast, but all that in hope to help and learn as quick as possible.

Re: Buffer keyboard input

Oh, you are picky! Hope you take no offense! The concept is there, you just have to adapt it to your needs: q:: SetTimer, CatchKeys, -100 Input, InputedValue, V T5 L4 C Sleep, 100 Send % ": " X " * " InputedValue " = " X * InputedValue return catchKeys: s:= A_TickCount While A_TickCount-s < 5000 { ;...

Re: Buffer keyboard input

To catch input you must enter the appropriate code. Maybe this: hwnd:= "" q:: if !hwnd { Gui +hwndhwnd Gui add, Text,, Enter a number: gui add, Edit, w150 vEditCtrl gui show } else GuiControl,, EditCtrl SetTimer, CatchKeys, -0 Sleep, 100 ;Send % X GuiControl,, EditCtrl, % X " * " CtrlContent " = " X...

Re: Buffer keyboard input

Maybe like this: q:: SetTimer, CatchKeys, -0 Sleep, 100 Send % X return catchKeys: s:= A_TickCount While A_TickCount-s < 5000 { ; wait 5 sec X:= A_Index ; put here the code to do something useful Sleep, 50 ; just to slow down the loop a bit } Return ^esc::ExitApp

Re: Problem determining whether a window is visible Topic is solved

Thank you! You're obviously very consequent, but busy and having me very low on the priority list (totally understandable), so through time distance you seem to forgot that we have already solved this problem in the other thread . However since it's a rarity, it's fine to have it on two places! Than...

Re: Simple Midi Message to Play a note Topic is solved

it's a pain! Yes, if you do by hand one note at a time. That's why we have AutoHotkey! O.k. coding takes some time too, but it's fun by itself, not to mention the outcome (sometimes)! ;q:: ;MIDI play notes hModule := DllCall("kernel32\LoadLibrary", "Str","winmm", "Ptr") vDeviceID := 0, hMIDIOutputD...

Re: SelectFolderEx() - new dialog on Win Vista+

Awesome function! Here is my contribution, so that after click on the TreeView (on the left hand side of the dialog), Select Folder button can be applied immediately: If !DllCall(NumGet(VTBL + GetResult, "UPtr"), "Ptr", FileDialog, "PtrP", ShellItem, "UInt") { GetDisplayName := NumGet(NumGet(ShellIt...

Re: Simple Midi Message to Play a note Topic is solved

MIDIOutputDevice is based on work by Anthony Zhang , which indeed is part of Uberi's game. @ A_Perry_1984 & @ AHKStudent : You're welcome to ask any further questions! bye! P.s.: SynchroSleep() is my function (now already a bit obsolete) written of course through experiences acquired on the forum!

Re: FileSelectFile - control the display view type

Once I called up fileselectfile I couldn't find a way to interact with the dialogue. This is not entirely true. The thread indeed stops waiting for user's feedback. But if you launch another thread e.g. via Timer beforehand, then this thread can do the changes you wish. SetTimer, ChangeDialog, -300...

Re: How can I remap ctrl-a to new command and alt-a to original select all hook ?

Try putting this in front of the above code: if((A_PtrSize=8&&A_IsCompiled="")||!A_IsUnicode){ ;32 bit=4 ;64 bit=8 SplitPath,A_AhkPath,,dir if(!FileExist(correct:=dir "\AutoHotkeyU32.exe")){ MsgBox error ExitApp } Run,"%correct%" "%A_ScriptName%",%A_ScriptDir% ExitApp return } If that doesn't help, ...

Re: Having odd issues with ToolTip Topic is solved

Your scripts work for me. After selection of a script in ListView Start Script Button becomes enabled, can start the looping script and enables Pause Script Button, which in turns switches off and on the ToolTip as desired.
