Re: Fileinstall versus arguments for compiled exe

Thanks, but what is wrong with my code. It should extract the file always, shouldn't it?

Fileinstall versus arguments for compiled exe

I have a script which ... - should be compiled to an exe - includes 7za.exe with fileinstall - expects three arguments It should work like this: - start the exe: myapp.exe "red" "green" "blue" - extract the included 7za.exe - do something with the arguments Here is my starting code-snippet: FileInst...

"FileCopyDir" without some files and folders?

I want to

- copy my folder c:\test\ incl. all files and all subdirs to somewhere
- but want to skip
- files c:\test\a.txt
- files c:\test\b.txt
- subdir c:\test\yxz\

Is there a "direct" solution or do I have to use a Loop?

Resize a window to given size (dual screen)?

I'm sure the solution will be a one-liner... I have dual screens, 2 x 1280 * 1024, so in total 2560 * 1024. I simply want to fit a window from a software (not a GUI from AHK) to both screen. I tried: WinSet, Region, 60-0 W2495 H990, ahk_class TV_CClientWindowsClass ; Make all parts of the window out...

Problems with "7za.exe wrapper" from Scripts

Thread is forked from here: ZipFile [AHK v1.1 and AHK v2.0] https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3892 ------------------------------ joedf posted this 7za.exe wrapper in the topic above: ;7z warpper - joedf 7z_exe:="7za.exe" 7z_compress(dPack,files*) { global 7z_exe flist:="" for each, ...

I just started to play around - Thanks a lot for this tool, it's a huge support for users with little knowledge. :thumbup:

Re: ZipFile [AHK v1.1 and AHK v2.0]

Some steps more, but no solution. Yes, "7z_exe" had no value, so I moved it into the function. I also made a lot of (simple) intermediate steps to report and see what it does. Here is the (ugly) code: 7z_compress(dPack,files*) { global 7z_exe global xx global flist 7z_exe := "7za.exe" flist:="" for ...

Re: ZipFile [AHK v1.1 and AHK v2.0]

The code is taken from your posting above, but I think it is the same.
Yes, 7za.exe is in the folder, and it is found with FileExist.
7za is also working fine when I start it in CMD-window.

Re: ZipFile [AHK v1.1 and AHK v2.0]

Hi Win 10, AHK 1.1.24.02 at the moment I have problems with the 7za-wrapper. I have the AHK-coe(snippet): FileSelectFolder, sicherungsquelle, *%A_Scriptdir%, 0,Verzeichnis zum Sichern wählen FileList = ; Initialize to be blank. Loop Files, %sicherungsquelle%\*.*, DFR FileList = %FileList% %A_LoopFil...

Autohotkey on Windows 10 Enterprise CBB (1607) and Windows Server 2016 LTSB (1609)

Hi I have a small AKH script (32 bit, compiled to Exe, I have the source code ) which now runs on Windows Server R2008 (or 2012??). Now the admins of the server want to update and asked me for compatibility with "Windows 10 Enterprise CBB (1607)" and "Windows Server 2016 LTSB (1609)" Is there an ans...

Yes, that's also fine. But it would not work with the messed up GUI-names in the my first example.

Re: Named GUIS and LV_ADD

Hi @ lexikos and @ just me thanks for your detailed help. a) It seems that the basic problem was my misunderstanding of +HwndSysinfo . I thought that Gui, new, Gui +HwndSysInfo assigns an empty GUI and then assigns the name "Sysinfo" to it. But a simple Gui, Systeminfo: new, does it: it creates a na...

Yes, this is what I tried to say. The main-Gui (Bundlelist) from the first code segment calls a second GUI (Sysinfo).

Re: ListView - ColClick: Sort up / sort down

I modified it to check first against last value, and change the operator:

Code: Select all

        LV_GetText(Out1, 1, A_EventInfo)
        LV_GetText(Out2, LV_GetCount(), A_EventInfo)
        isSortedDown := Out2 < Out1
