ListView - ColClick: Sort up / sort down

Already done: To click on a column header toggles the sorting of a column "up / down" (asc. / desc.). With "Colclick" I can remember the number of the sorted column. Question: How to recognize, store and reuse if the column was sorted "up or down"? Is there a built in feature or must it be handled w...

Re: Localizing the own code - some recommendations?

Thanks, this function looks fine. But add the moment all the additional functions are bigger and more complex than my main-ahk, so I will go back to "simple" editing my code.

Re: Localizing the own code - some recommendations?

After some days I tried to continue and found the problem with "strings" which are concatenated. If I set them to the INI, the subroutine calls them as "one simple string" and AHK does not evaluates the commands and options, like new-line and variables. The line MsgBox, 52, % "Switcher", % "Attentio...

Re: Localizing the own code - some recommendations?

As usual, I'm fighting with more trivial questions .. I have a GUI where I want to write the "translated text". I define the GUI and call a function: Gui, Add, Text, x+15 Section , % callmsg(1) .... callmsg(nummer) ; Nummer wird übergeben, Sprache kommt vom Dialog, Sprachdatei ist fixiert { global l...

Localizing the own code - some recommendations?

I think the localization of AHK-code (also compiled) could be done (not so hard) with a LNG-file in INI-style and placeholders in the code, which look for the right strings in the LNG-file. Before I reinvent the localization-wheel, are there some recommendations for existing AHK-codes or snippets? H...

Re: "FileMoveDir" with Admin-Rights

Why don't you use Run command ? ...[/code] This is what I thought too, but I didn't try it because I understood the help-file in that way that a password is obligatory. But I should try ... (BTW: I either understand the background of the Windows behaviour that - sometimes it asks only "Continue as ...

"FileMoveDir" with Admin-Rights

I use "FileMoveDir" to rename a folder. Sometimes I got an error message, and as I tried to rename it with Explorer, I got the wellknown message "You need Admin-Rights to rename this folder. Do you want to continue? Continue / Skip / Cancel" Continue did the job, without asking for username and pass...

Fit controls to resized /maximized window

It seems that I missed the basic feature to dynamically fit the size of controls to the increased size of the windows. If I increase the GUI-window, the controls should follow the size (in another language I can defined the right border of control depended on the right border of windows). If I maxim...

Simple 2D-Point graph / diagram?

Here is a screenshot of a simple graph: http://t7.pixhost.org/thumbs/67/31586547_zwischenablage-1.jpg X and y values, from 1 - 10, no decimals, minimal graph annotations - only values, only simple points, no legend.. I found some (too) powerful graph functions here; does someone knows a simple, (nea...

Re: LV_GetNext(0, "F") returns always 0

I replaced

Code: Select all

Gui, new,+HwndBundleList,Bundle Switcher
with
Gui, new,,Bundle Switcher
and thought that without a special name it would be the "default-GUI"
