Re: Clipjump : The Ultimate Clipboard Manager [Updated 9/11]

Hi Avi,

Thanks so much for getting back on this, and glad (relieved) that there's some revitalised interest from your side. I'd offer to help, but have woefully inadequate skills :( Looking forward to your update :-), and thanks again for a great program :-).

Re: Clipjump : The Ultimate Clipboard Manager [Updated 9/11]

Hi Avi, I've been using Clipjump for a couple of years now and I'm still amazed at how good it is. But I've been getting lots of crashes lately (with 12.3) - last few weeks it crashed a few times a week, but this week it's like every few minutes. I think that you might be aware of this - is it perha...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

The indentation behaviour is "hard-coded" in ahk.lua, in the AutoIndent_On* functions. Rather than editing the file, you can just redefine specific functions in your user script (right-click the AutoHotkey portion of the toolbar and click Edit User Lua script ). Hi lexikos, many thanks for the repl...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

Hi, I'm still trying to change the default indentation behaviour of SciTE4AutohotKey.....I've got as far as spotting this in the SciTEGlobal.properties: # Indentation tabsize=4 indent.size=4 use.tabs=1 indent.auto=1 indent.automatic=1 indent.opening=0 indent.closing=0 And then read this in http://ww...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

Hi, SciTE4AutoHotkey is tremendous and makes my poor scripting effort much easier - so many thanks fincs. But I have a few questions (please excuse my ignorance as I'm relatively new to all this): 1) Indentation of braces: I like this style: If (ModuleStart = 1) { StringSplit, OutputArray, A_LoopRea...

Cheers.

[solved] How to split an Associative Array over several lines?

Hi, Sorry if this is easy / there's an existing post covering it (which I didn't find!): I have this associative array: array := {LogPrecision:"Single", TargetLogSampleInterval:0.1, DynamicsSolutionMethod:"Implicit", UnitsSystem:"SI"} Ultimately this array will be much longer, so to improve the read...

Re: GUI opacity / translucency / transparent

wolf_II, again thanks for your thoughts. Posting back for completeness. The advantage of your 2 x GUI approach is that the second GUI can be made transparent. But it also makes the text in that GUI transparent. So, having worked through this, in the end I went back to adding the text to a single GUI...

Thanks for the suggestions wolf_II - I'll need a couple of days to work through your idea, but I'll post back what I find.

Cheers.

GUI opacity / translucency / transparent

Hi, With the help of many un-related posts in the forum (credit to all), I've managed to lash together a countdown timer with a video playing in the background. In particular the following code file = untitled.avi FutureTime := 2015 08 13 17 00 00 ;year, month, day, hour, min, secs. Gui, Color, EEAA...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

Hi MJs, Thanks for the reply....I tried your suggestion but without luck! I took your advice re: backups and test file - thanks for the heads up there. But I couldn't edit the SciTEDebug.ahk file - I could open it just fine (and saw the 'here be dragons warning'), but it just wouldn't let me make an...

Re: AHK Studio

Thanks maestrith, I upgraded AKHd (was only a little out of date but enough). But the key was seeing the 'right click, save target as' on the vid. Everything went fine after that. Thanks for the help getting me to that point. I'm spending a little time looking into the debugging features - I hope yo...

Re: AHK Studio

Thanks maestrith,

I'd been there a couple of times, but all I get is what looks like ahk source, but with no structure to it. I tried to cut this to notepad (and another well known AHK editor) but this still resulted in nothing I could use!

Sorry, still feel like I missing something!?!

Cheers.

Re: AHK Studio

Hi, I'm pretty new to AHK and was looking at AHK Studio to start editing & debugging code in a better way. But (and I feel pretty silly even asking!) I can't seem to find how to download the latest version. I can get an exe off your website, but the menus are all different to what is shown here and ...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

Hi, I'm still a newbie with AUTOHOTKEY and SciTE4AHK is really helpful in understanding more. But I have one issue which I can't see a way around (that usually means there is a way round, but it's so blindingly obvious that I can't see it!). When I put SciTE4AHK into debugging mode, I usually bring ...

Re: Can I use GuiControlGet in a Hotkey?

Hi lexikos and MJs, many thanks for getting back on this. @MJs: I'm sorry if I've caused confusion....the single script I posted would be run with either option 1 or option 2, but not both together. In other words I'd comment out the option I was not testing - apologies for the confusion. @lexikos: ...

Re: Can I use GuiControlGet in a Hotkey?

Hi TLM, Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I made things clear. I have a script with either option 1 or option 2 in. Not both in the same file. The problem is that the script with only option 1 does return the button position information, but the script with only option 2 in returns no content fo...

Can I use GuiControlGet in a Hotkey?

Hi All, Sorry, I think that this might be a really basic question. I'm trying to move a button on a window by using a hotkey. Re: Clipjump : The Ultimate Clipboard Manager

Hi Avi, Many thanks for getting back on this - the clue I needed was Common Formats! But I couldn't get your suggestion of i)\n to work. But after a little digging on the autohotkey forum, a recent post by Lexikos suggested \R . So in the Common Formats input field, on the 1st line I typed \R , and ...
