WM_LBUTTONDOWN := 0x201 ; Google "WM_LBUTTONDOWN"...

Re: Window Detective/Winspector alternative for 64-bit?

Note that in VS2013, I believe there are 2 versions of spyxx:
32-bit: spyxx.exe
64-bit: spyxx_amd64.exe

How to open pdf file on Monitor 3

My script has a WinWaitActive for a pdf that is launched by another app. Once the pdf file is opened, I want AHK to make sure it is maximized on monitor 3, and if it was instead opened on one of my other monitors, to move it to monitor 3. Been combing through this forum and autohotkey.com. I've seen...

More elegant way to define context sensitive hotkeys for...

Is there a more elegant way to define context sensitive hotkeys for 2 windows: 1) W4W window exists 2) Adobe Reader is active window Or do I have to replicate the code to test for Adobe Reader being active within each hotkey: IfWinActive, Adobe Reader { SetTitleMatchMode, 1 ; match from left ... Re: Can't get arrow keys to work on GUI using Controlsend...

Thanks! Clever solution that reduces a whole lot of code. To further my knowledge about AHK and AHK GUIs: I am still interested if anyone knows WHY sending arrow keys to the Gui doesn't work for a radio group... or if there is a way to do it that we just haven't figured out. My thinking is: Since AH...

Re: Can't get arrow keys to work on GUI using Controlsend...

Bummer... As expected, Radio1 (Button2) loses focus as a result of ControlFocus, Button1 (i.e. the box around Radio1 disappears). But still navigates the same: UP:: { ControlFocus, Button1, W4W ; GroupBox ControlSend,, {UP}, W4W ; moves focus to Cancel (Button6), then alternates between OK and Cancel

Re: Can't get arrow keys to work on GUI using Controlsend...

Is this for a gui created with autohotkey, Because im not sure if the example code is just an example? Yes, AHK Gui Have you tried ControlFocus with ControlSend? This way, you can make the radio group the "active" control, then send the keys to it. Great idea! I'll try that when I can and report ba...

Re: Can't get arrow keys to work on GUI using Controlsend...

Thanks again. If I understand your suggestion, it seems to be the approach I was trying to avoid, hence my PS above: PS: I'm trying to avoid doing something like this for each scenario: ControlGet, SelectedButton, Checked,, Button2 if SelectedButton ControlClick, Button4, W4W,, Left Since AHK GUI is...

Re: Can't get arrow keys to work on GUI using Controlsend...

Thanks for the thought... seems the Tab and Shift/tab treat the radio group as one control, so they cycle from the currently selected radio button to the OK to the Cancel and then back to the currently selected radio button...

Anyone else?

Hi- Two of my Control commands below (marked with arrows) don't work without the Sleep, 1000 command. If any gurus out there know why, I would like to know why that is and how I can solve the problem without using the sleep command: SetControlDelay -1 ; reduces interference from user if they are usi...

Bring MDI Window to foreground

I have an application (Commence RM) that uses MDI windows. I spent all day yesterday trying to figure out how to both activate a non-active MDI window AND bring it to the foreground (i.e. in front of the other MDI windows). Figured out how to activate, but still can't bring a background MDI window t...
