Re: can ahk copy text than carry out a click based on the te

Yes, you are on the right path.

Code: Select all

IfInString, Clipboard, auto hot key to the rescue
     MsgBox, Yes, it was there
else
MsgBox, The search text was not there
Next you have to figure out where it is and how you want to identify what it is you click on.

Re: MemoryInfo v0.2

Are you saying that my 64-bit Windows OS will allow even 32-bit applications to use all of my available memory?

Re: MemoryInfo v0.2

Thanks for the links. I know that my computer and OS are 64-bit. I was asking if your script could identify how much of the 32-bit addressable memory is being used. A significant number of my installed programs are 32-bit, so they're not able to use all of the memory identified as free by your script.

Re: MemoryInfo v0.2

It seems that even though my memory shows 45% used and 55% free, I could be critically low on free memory. I have 8GB total, but only 4GB is usable by 32-bit applications. Could it be possible that I'm using almost all of the first 4GB of memory, leaving very little left for 32-bit applications yet ...

I don't think he's saying anything isn't working. He's just sharing his script that adds a couple features to gvim that he enjoyed when he used to use SciTE4AutoHotkey.

Re: ActiveX Example

Maybe that's difference. I've done ActiveX controls with IE with no problems. I do have FireFox installed, btw.

Re: ActiveX Example

I'm getting errors even with those lines in there. But when I click OK, it works. But I get an error each time I click a new button.

Re: MemoryInfo v0.1

Your code looks like it uses the same criteria for both bars. Perhaps a copy/paste and didn't finish editing? Also, it looks like there are no breaks below 70%.

Mine is 55% free and 45% used, yet both bars are green. :?:

Re: Switching between macros !

I've never used it, but each macro ends up being an AHK script (a file with a .ahk extension), correct? If so, then yes, I can help.

Oh, right. I was thinking he used %sparams%. He only used that in the MsgBox.

Re: controlsend to notepad2 not sending text

Sure. If you happen to resolve the letters changing, please post how you did that. I noticed that before when I sent text to notepad (the regular notepad).

Re: Command line parameters: %0% (number of parameters passe

What's interesting is that it actually did loop with the variable having the value of "P3". But I can't simulate that behavior by trying to loop with a variable that has the contents of "P3", even if I assign it to a variable named 0. It only works in the case when it's assigned by AHK when having p...

Re: controlsend to notepad2 not sending text

Seems to work better if you take the leave the control parameter blank in the ControlSend statement, so you're sending it to the Window instead of the control. It seems to mess up some characters, though. Like a 1 will become a ! and a T will become t, and stuff like that.

Actually, this is even better:

Code: Select all

Gosub, Label1
Loop
{
    Gosub, Loop2
    Gosub, Loop3
} until failedtoload = 0
Gosub, Label4

Re: need help to change script Topic is solved

There's nothing that says you can't Gosub form inside loops. You can't use Gosub to break out of the loop because it will eventually return back to inside the loop. So you just need the loop to handle it correctly when you return from it. It sounds like what you want is this: Gosub, Label1 Gosub, La...

Re: Dir .: C:\Program Files (x86) and c:\Program Files

In some countries, the name of the directory isn't "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)". It can use "Programme" or something like that. So it's best to use A_ProgramFiles or the environmental variables to get everything but the " (x86)" and then determine whether to add it or not once you determ...
