Re: MouseMover: Pixel-Perfect Pointer Precision!

Pretty cool, thanks for the script, I've used it.

But why did you write these:
SoundBeep, 523.251, 100
SoundBeep, 783.991, 100

instead of just these?
SoundBeep, 523, 100
SoundBeep, 783, 100

And what about that lonely #If in the end? lol

DeadOrAutohotkey - a fighting game bot

This thread will no longer be updated, it has moved here: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=24155 outdated message: I have written a bot for a video game, a fighting game called Dead or Alive 5 Last Round that beats the game automatically. It uses RHCP's fantastic classMemory.ahk li...

Re: How to optimize the speed of a script as much as possible.

Higher precision but higher usage ? And may I ask. What's the lowest delay of the function According to my benchmarks: Sleep default method = low CPU, low precision Sleep suspend method = low CPU, high precision, issues with SetTimer Sleep precise method = high CPU, higher precision But sometimes w...

Re: How to optimize the speed of a script as much as possible.

Replaced the high CPU Sleep function with the "suspend" Sleep method which uses no considerable CPU and makes the code way shorter. Here's the previous one, for historical reasons I guess: sleepz(period := 1, Mode := "P") { static Frequency, MinSetResolution, PID if (Mode = "P") { pBatchLines := A_B...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

@WAZAAAAA I use the AutoIndent code from AHK Studio. Since AHK Studio is actually written in AHK, it makes it a simple matter to pluck out the indenter. Here's his original code though it's been updated a bit since I did this, and here's my version of it I use for my code tester: AutoIndent(Code, I...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

Since there's no tool or function available to instantly clean an entire messy AutoHotkey script (at least not anymore, Auto-Syntax-Tidy is outdated), I've decided to make one... more or less. Basically, this script takes your ugly looking script and manually rewrites it all into SciTE (which will a...

Just use an alternative to Adobe Reader if that's the one you're using. I use the more lightweight Sumatra personally.

Re: How to optimize the speed of a script as much as possible.

WAZAAAAA, your top post still contains the SetKeyDelay error. SetKeyDelay, -1, -1, -1 The third parameter should be the word "Play" or nothing at all. -1 has no meaning. Thanks for the catch! I updated my last post. "Nothing at all" (for the third parameter) is the more correct option in this case....

How to optimize the speed of a script as much as possible.

This code disables several ON-by-default "obscure" delays, unnecessary debug functions, gives an higher CPU priority to your scripts and contains an high precision Sleep function. Please note that inside the spoiler of note #8 you can find a good benchmark script to test the speed of your scripts. G...

Re: PixelSearch faster than Gdip on benchmarks?

Thanks for "Continue"... I totally forgot about its existence Thanks for the code too, I benchmarked that and put it on the first post. Gdip is now usable but still ends up being slower than PixelSearch like you've pointed out. But I wonder if Gdip's PixelSearch can end up having an edge speed wise ...

PixelSearch faster than Gdip on benchmarks?

So I was doing some benchmarks to find out what is the fastest way to make AHK continuously monitor a single pixel and do an action when a specific color is detected . My weird results so far, in order of speed from the fastest to the slowest, are the following: (time elapsed for doing the same acti...
