Re: Twitter desktop notifications

The script is alreading downloading the rss. I did not test it a lot, but even after the fisrt start it shows all the tweet ? Because for me it does the job just fine: display all the first time, keep a log named "OlderRSS" in the directory, and doesn't shows new tweet until it read another tweet fr...

It is because I was using "<p>...</p>" to identify the tweet. Re: Check if script run successfully

I was in front of the same wish one day.
I wrote another script monitoring with IfWinEXist - name of the monitored script, and I was sending mail to warm me about the crash. You could aswell print in a file the screen and the error.
Maybe this idea can help you!

Re: Twitter desktop notifications

Hum it might be better then to use directly Twitter API. Sounds like this is what you are looking for : https://dev.twitter.com/rest/reference/get/statuses/user_timeline If you mix it with my previous script (and modify it to parse JSON except of reading an RSS), it will be probably fine. Although I...

Re: Twitter desktop notifications

It can't be done like this, because I use the date in order to know if the tweet is new or not. First, you need to store the description for each date, then compare the date and shows the description if needed. By changing just pubDate by description, it will display what is inside, which is indeed ...

Re: question regex search help please

When you say if the sum is 5, do you mean you want to have a result when there is only five number? Like this: #Persistent AAA := "(123) (1234) (12345) (123456) (1234567) (54321)" pos := 0 indice := 0 foundItems := Object() element := While, pos := RegExMatch(AAA, "\(.*?\)", entree, pos + 1) { taill...

Re: Twitter desktop notifications

Hi!
You could use some other site as QueryFeed (there is more), and simply watch the RSS with the AHK script.

I use WOT (Web Of Trust), it is not as accurate as some other tools, but still useful!

Re: problem using thunderbird to send mail Topic is solved

This is a working function I used on a W7 when the computer goes to an unexpected sleep: messageAlerte(alerte_type) { If(alerte_type = "type_veilleSurprise") or (alerte_type = "type_veilleNormale") or (alerte_type = "type_reveil") or (alerte_type = "type_USB") or (alerte_type) or (alerte_type = "typ...

Re: Toggle script (only once)

This block of code is in the same ahk? It's because Reload reset your 'a' variable. If you want to have both script, you can maybe use the toggle this way: toggle := TRUE ^m:: If toggle { toggle := !toggle SendInput /test1{enter} } Else { SendInput /test{enter} } return F1:: toggle := !toggle Return...

Re: First Monday of the Month

Hi!
Why not just this for the first monday:

Code: Select all

If(A_WDay==2)		; 2 = monday (Sunday is one)
	FormatTime, jour,, d ; if it is a monday we test the date
	If(d<=7) ; the first monday will be less or equal to 7 (a week = 7 days)
		MsgBox, This is the first!

Re: Toggle script (only once)

Hi!
Since you seem to use Reload, this should be enough:

Code: Select all

toggle := TRUE
~!m::

If toggle
{
	toggle := !toggle
	SendInput /test1{enter}
}
else
{
	SendInput /test{enter}
}
return

F1::
	Reload

Re: Adding notes to me, is it possible?

Hi! I think that's because you use a continuation section: your comment is taken as a text of your line. See this for more info: https://autohotkey.com/docs/Hotstrings.htm#continuation If you didn't plan to add a lot of stuff you can go like this: ::rep::Now is the time to make $ and be a * star in ...

Foreign sub-forum - French

Hi there! :) Since it is a wish list forum, I just want to add my wish to it: a french sub-forum would be great. I understand there is not really a need for it since I didn't really notice other French than me on this forum, but a wish a wish, and doesn't need to be needed right? :D Anyway, if one d...

Re: Script Stops Working After Restart

Or to add at the beginning of the script:

Code: Select all

StringTrimRight, Name, A_ScriptName, 3
IfNotExist, %A_Startup%\%Name%lnk
	{

		FileCreateShortcut, %A_ScriptFullPath%, %A_Startup%\%Name%lnk
	}
I use these for scripts I share with people, so no need for them (or me :dance: ) to worry about it!

My pleasure! :D
The fact I first chose to increase before was because I initialized with 0 at the beginning. Well, doesn't really matter anyway if it now fits your needs ^^.
