Re: v1/v2 Random for both

Some time ago I posted a code for CryptGenRandom , but since I moved to a new computer it no longer works (NTE_BAD_PUBLIC_KEY). But I found some alternatives: rand_s rand_s(Seed, Min := 0, Max := 0XFFFFFFFF) { DllCall("msvcrt.dll\rand_s", "UInt*", Seed) Return Mod(Seed, (Max + 1 - Min)) + Min } n :=...

Re: Add list to InputBox

To make sure I can accommodate whatever data is entered I want to limit the options to a list such as (Chevy, Ford, Chrysler). If you want these boxes to have the appropriate look and feel of Windows, try this: #SingleInstance Force #NoEnv SetBatchLines -1 Model := InputBoxEx("Enter Model brand",, ...

Re: Scripts management. AHK process list

In Scripts Manager, a tool included with AutoGUI, the script list is updated by comparing the sum of the PIDs in a timer, but I will probably also switch to the Lexicos method. Thanks for demonstrating its usage. Some problems: I don't have AHK installed on C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey, so I don't se...

Re: AutoGUI 2.5

Is it possible to make the debugger break on an exception instead of having to define a breakpoint? The debugger redirects standard errors (stderr) to the "Standard Error View" window (Debug > Error Stream). It will soon be made optional. Meanwhile you can use OnError (introduced in AHK 1.1.29). Ex...

For Total Commander Users

How to quickly open AHK scripts in AutoGUI from Total Commander? The problem is that in Total Commander a default editor can de defined for the F4 key, but not on a file extension basis, so you will end up using a generic text editor and get used to it for any kind of text file. Here I will describ...

Also ensure that lines hidden in contracted folds become visible. • Fixed: ...

I tested the code with some minor modifications and it works for me. AutoGUI is for AHK v1 (notice the number 1.1.30 on the top bar of the forum). The minimum requirement is AHK 1.1.23 or higher, but that doesn't include AHK v2.

OK. Replace ToggleComment in Editor.ahk with this: ToggleComment() { n := TabEx.GetSel() Pos := Sci[n].GetCurrentPos() SelStart := Sci[n].GetSelectionStart() SelEnd := Sci[n].GetSelectionEnd() LineStartPos := Sci[n].PositionFromLine(Sci[n].LineFromPosition(SelStart)) If (SelStart == SelEnd) { SelEnd...

Re: Checking/Unchecking Checkboxes

No luck. Copied and pasted the same code, set TitleMatchMode in the first line, but doesn't work. Tried without the space too, still the MsgBox returns nothing. There's no window that contains 'properties', let alone being just 'properties' except of the Sound's one, the one I'm actually working on...

Re: AutoGUI 2.5

There is a side effect. What if I want to comment out only the final portion of the line (even though it makes no sense to select a portion of the line and press Ctrl+K instead of simply adding the semicolon)? One line from Editor.ahk: Static XPMLoaded := 0, PixmapBreakpoint, PixmapBookmark ;, Pixma...

Re: Checking/Unchecking Checkboxes

Hi, I tried that. The MsgBox returns nothing (null, empty). This means that the hWnd (the unique ID of the ListView) is not being retrieved. Most probably, there is another window with the same title. And it is probably a dialog, so adding ahk_class #32770 will not work either. I've noticed that th...
