Re: Blocking a key press until ive pressed another one.

This should work:

Code: Select all

~9::flag:=1

$2::
If flag
{
Send 2
flag:=0
}
return
Check out the modifiers. ~ is a pass-through modifier, $ is an anti-self-recursive modifier. flag is a custom variable. If, Send, and return should be clickable links in the code box above

Re: What would be the AutoHotkey code to put in for this?

Windows 10 does not play well with the start up I guess. I have not been on Windows 10 but have seen numerous reports on the AHK forums with people struggling to get their scripts to launch at start up. You might search the forums for a solution, if anyone has one. People have tried the Task Schedul...

Re: What would be the AutoHotkey code to put in for this?

I know of no AHK code to prevent an external program from taking window focus when it pops up a window. The ControlClick should avoid AHK making the window active, but it won't stop your wallpaper program from making the window active. You might get a quicker response by using WinWait in the timer, ...

Re: What would be the AutoHotkey code to put in for this?

What happens if you don't press Continue Free Trial? Having it pop up every few minutes would sound like it would be annoying. How about using WinHide , which would hopefully hide the window from your view, but also not have this program keep popping up new windows as a pop up is already present? I ...

Re: Closing a Stale browser window?

Javascript is probably the best contender here. Do you think you can use an addon like Scriptish/Greasemonkey (not sure if GM is still around) to run a javascript script yourself for this page (particular URL)? But maybe there is a way to get the source code with AHK. There have been some surprising...

Re: Composed private message disappears

Could you describe what you had happened? What kind of refresh or update did you experience? I wasn't on at the time of your post nor half an hour before it, I don't think, so I wasn't around to notice anything. I have an add-on that can refresh a tab for me every X seconds or minutes. Sometimes I a...

#Persistent ; keep the script open as there are no hotkeys SetTimer, MyLabel, 10000 ; no return here so that it instantly executes MyLabel below by running right into it MyLabel: PixelSearch, outputX, outputY, x1, y1, x2, y2, color, variation, fast|RGB If !ErrorLevel ; a matching color was found in...

Re: How to control one script with another? Help needed

What you would do is this: #InputLevel 30 F12:: loop, 9999999 { send, {F1 down} RandomSleep(100, 250) send, {F1 up} RandomSleep(2500, 3000) send, {F5 down} RandomSleep(100, 250) send, {F5 up} RandomSleep(20000, 22999) } RandomSleep(min,max) { Random, num, min, max Sleep, num } The alternative is to ...

Re: My AutoHotkey sometimes doesn't work

It sounds to me like the name for a key called CapsLock is not being recognized when your script is launching. If I purposefully misspell the Capslock key, I can get the error message you described.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to resolve that.

Re: How to control one script with another? Help needed

I was able to test these hotkeys between two scripts: Script 1: !6::MsgBox Hello World Script 2: ^6::Send !6 Pressing ^6 works to show me the message box. However, if I change Script 1 into $!6::MsgBox Hello World , ^6 no longer shows a MsgBox. However! If I make Script 2 this, then even with the $ ...

Re: Breaking a user defined loop with a hotkey??

The reload approach with this script isn't going to work unless you just minimize the GUI. A couple more approaches are going to be ^k::Suspend or to set a flag with a hotkey and have your script check for the flag. Example: Loop { Send {Left} Sleep 250 If flag=1 Break } return ^k::flag:=1 This latt...

I haven't had that luck. I'll refresh the page, see my post is not there, and then try try again. Once in a blue moon it seems now it's going through. For autohotkey.com/board/, there have been issues with trying to post for me. Not sure if others are experiencing them as well. When I press the submit reply button, it stalls and often fails to submit with no error message.

Thanks lexikos. Undeactivating the account and resending the activation email worked. I appreciate all the effort from everyone.
