Re: Global not always global

I expanded "Join()" slightly, and also used "Listvars" to examine stuff.... join() { for each, item in items { runlog( items_%item%_MC_x, items_%item%_MC_y ) ; This works for all values of "item" *except* items_Pierce_MC_x and items_Pierce_MC_y. These are defined as local variables by "join()". Why?...

Global not always global

I'm using "global" within a function to create a pseudo array of values from file data. Two of the globals created are: items_Pierce_MC_x, items_Pierce_MC_y....which I can (and do) use outside the function defining them. Displayed with my log() function. However, when I try to access those same two ...

Re: HDMI

I've spent many hours searching for answers, and testing stuff. Solutions: Window 10: Just no. (They call it a feature. Jerks.) Software solutions: Dependent on video card. Some (NVIDEA) have options. Mine (Intel) doesn't. Hardware solutions: Buy a 'cheater' (makes computer think something is attach...

Re: HDMI

More testing, and....well.... Seems that the video is not updated AT ALL when I turn my monitor off. (PixelGetColor is effectively disabled.) I wrote the following code to test it. The idea is to watch for something happening, and react to it. It examines a pixel both with mouse over and mouse away....

Re: HDMI

Ya, I was kinda vague. (As mentioned, my head is kinda spinning with all the changes.) The script watches & responds to various video events. Fundamental problem is with PixelGetColor, Pixel1, %x%, %y% When the input to the monitor changes, the colour (or maybe the location) of the stuff I'm looking...

HDMI

I recently upgraded my computer. My old one was connected to my TV with a DVI cable. The new one is HDMI (only). Problem is, when I turn the TV off, or switch the TV input from computer to TV (or whatever) my AHK script behaves very unpredictably. Didn't have this problem before. This didn't happen ...

Re: How to check for send command to have ended?

I was looking for something similar to this, but I'm having troubles isolating the actual problem. (Is it with "Send", "Delay", "Winset", "Winactivate", "alwaysontop"....) WinSet, AlwaysOnTop, On, %Log% winactivate, ahk_id %Log% sendevent, {Click 40, 40}{Click 40, 40}{Click 40, 40} sendevent, Lucida...
