Re: Mousemove ontop of GUI

I added a "Coordmode, Mouse, Screen" at the very top of the script and it hasn't made a difference - is there someplace else i should be putting it?

Re: Mousemove ontop of GUI

okay, awesome! Just about there- if you could run this script, here's what happens: 1. a notepad window will open, and the gui will also open 2. left click and hold ontop of the gui, and drag upwards- the letter 'a' is sent repetitively to notepad - perfect 3. without releasing lbutton, drag downwar...

Re: Mousemove ontop of GUI

Thanks, tried your ideas. It's close, but the problem now is that the tooltip keeps executing even after Lbutton is released. How do I get it to stop updating the tooltip until I press and hold down LButton again? I'm thinking I might have a bracket out of place or something here.. Gui, +AlwaysOnTop...

Mousemove ontop of GUI

Hi all, I hope I can explain this as easy as possible: -I have a GUI. When the cursor is ontop of the GUI, and lbutton is held down, and then the cursor is dragged to the left (or right- doesn't matter) by 50 pixels, it sends a tooltip. -This process is repeated every 50 pixels when continuing to be...

Re: Move Mouse Down Topic is solved

try adding a keywait - pressing any other keys shouldn't interfere anymore:

Code: Select all

~LCtrl::
keywait, lbutton, d
while GetKeyState("LButton", "P")
{
MouseMove, 0, 50, 2, R
sleep, 500
}
return

Re: Move Mouse Down Topic is solved

500 stands for 500 milliseconds, which means .5 seconds. 1000 would be 1 full second. 1500 would be 1.5 seconds, 2000 would be 2 full seconds, etc. The time of repetition should not have been the same between 100 and 500--- there should have been a slight, but noticeable difference. It should have b...

Re: Move Mouse Down Topic is solved

i forgot the ampersand. ctrl should now retain its function:

Code: Select all

~LCtrl::

while GetKeyState("LButton", "P")
{
MouseMove, 0, 50, 2, R
sleep, 500
}
return

Re: Remove everything before https

thanks GEV, I decided to insert an asterisk infront of the https so the line now reads: this is my webpage * https://www.mywebpage.com ..and I was able to read the entire string, locate the * and then remove everything before it. I read the docs but found it was a little daunting to figure out- it l...

Remove everything before https

hi, I have the following line in a text file: this is my webpage https://www.mywebpage.com I'm trying to find a way to capture that line as a variable, and the output would delete everything before the https. So in other words, the output would be: https://www.mywebpage.com basically it gets rid of ...

Re: Undo And Step Back in history on photoshop

a single click on the pen is equal to a left click on a mouse. In other words every time the pen is put down onto a document in photoshop, it is left-clicking. Or when the pen is put down on the layers panel, or history panel, etc. - it is also left-clicking. So re-mapping the left click to perform ...

Re: Error: 0x800401E3 - Operation unavailable

Well- problem solved. After many days of trying to resolve this, I bit the bullet and completely un-installed Photoshop along with all its preferences. I then used the Adobe CC Cleaner tool to completely wipe all remnants of Photoshop from the hard drive, and then re-installed Photoshop. Voila, the ...

Re: Get difference between two variables (numbers)

actually no... I might have it wrong... I was just looking for the difference between the two numbers. 15 is the difference between 10 and 25. Did I do that right by subtracting Var2 from Var1 or is there a better way to calculate the difference between the two numbers without adding or subtracting ...

Re: Get difference between two variables (numbers)

thank you guys, as usual I found the solution after posting the message. It was a simple fix yet I couldn't find it right away. (I'm still a rookie in case no one has noticed) ...Here's what I came up with: Var1=25 Var2=10 diff:=(Var1-Var2) if (diff = 15) Msgbox, Difference is 15 else if (diff < 15)...

Get difference between two variables (numbers)

Var1 = 10 Var2 = 25 The difference between these two is 15. I am working on a script that if the difference between two variables is more than 15, then proceed. If it is less than 15, then execute some different code. Not looking for solutions here, just somewhere for me to seek out the answer for m...
