Re: Show all GUIs Faster?

dang, I was really hoping there was a way to do this. I tried creating just one GUI, and having hundreds of buttons inside of it instead, and then making the background of the GUI transparent, leaving only the buttons visible. Then, winshow/winhide just the GUI, but the same thing is happening - it ...

Show all GUIs Faster?

Hi again I have a few hundred small GUIs. All of them start with the name "MyGUI". So for example, "MyGUI_001", "MyGUI_paintbrush", "MyGUI_croptool", etc. When the hotkey is pressed and held down, all of the GUIs are shown on the screen. When the hotkey is released, they are hidden. With so many GUI...

Re: Toggle GUI Transparency

but speaking of which, is it possible to have those child GUIs move around inside the Parent and save their x y locations relative to the parent after they have been moved? If so, I will look into it

Re: Toggle GUI Transparency

no, as long as the child GUIs are anchored to the Parent GUI, that's all that matters. The child GUIs do not have to move independently, they would act as fixed controls inside the Parent.

Re: if (Title contains %exact_match%)

I suppose being a programmer is nothing like being a lawyer or a doctor, but I would have guessed that any of the 3 requires a very high IQ and a solid, stable and rational individual. Being a Doctor will require a massive level of knowledge of the human body, but being a programmer would require a ...

how can I modify the code so that it does this:

if click on the red GUI
{
do this
}

else

if click on the blue GUI
{
do this
}

else

if click on the green GUI
{
do this
}

Re: Toggle GUI Transparency

wow. that works !!

You are a true genius :)

I wish I could understand the code, but it is light years beyond what I could ever comprehend.

I'm sure I can adapt my script to your code - thanks for this SO much

Re: if (Title contains %exact_match%)

I just think that programmers/coding who do this for a living and have been doing it for decades are a very small percentage of the population - and by far, the most intelligent portion of the population - even more so than say, a Doctor or a Lawyer for example. I think you guys are on a much higher...

Re: if (Title contains %exact_match%)

I think this might be it: a:: winactivate, ahk_class Photoshop WinGetTitle, Title, A titleNOW = %Title% ;if (!!InStr(titleNOW, "6.25")) if InStr(titleNOW, "@ 6.25% (RGB/8) *") { msgbox, *YES*, 6.25 is the Title! } else { msgbox, *NO*, 6.25 is not the Title! } return b:: winactivate, ahk_class Photos...

Re: if (Title contains %exact_match%)

Okay, I have isolated the problem, but this requires a genius to figure it out (I'm being serious) if the title is MyDocument.jpg @ 6.25% (RGB/8) * then the hotkey 'a' will always return *YES* if the title is MyDocument.jpg @ 25% (RGB/8) * then the hotkey 'a' will always return *NO* a:: winactivate,...

Re: if (Title contains %exact_match%)

The two existing two window titles are: MyDocument.jpg @ 6.25% (RGB/8) * MyDocument.jpg @ 25% (RGB/8) * The messagebox pops up no matter which of the two window titles are active. winactivate, ahk_class Photoshop WinGetTitle, Title, A titleNOW = %Title% if (!!InStr(titleNOW, "6.25")) { msgbox, 6.25 ...

Ok, your help is getting me somewhere (wink) Here is what I have now and it is working: winactivate, ahk_class Photoshop WinGetTitle, Title, A ;if the Title is MyDocument.jpg @ 6.25% (RGB/8) * then the messagebox returns 1 ;if the Title is MyDocument.jpg @ 25% (RGB/8) * then the messagebox returns 0...
