Re: Detect When Scrollwheel Has Stopped

thanks swagfag, that's exactly what I'm talking about :)

one more thing... how do I reset the counter when the messagebox appears?

I tried:

Code: Select all

i := 0

WheelUp::

    ++i
    SetTimer msg, -1000
return

msg:
i := 0
    MsgBox % i
return

..but the messagebox just returns 0 every time now..

Detect When Scrollwheel Has Stopped

Let's say we scroll the wheel upwards, repetitively, for maybe one second or so. During that second (or thereabouts - that one second will always be random, depending on long we keep scrolling for) , maybe the wheel clicked 18 times (doesn't really matter, but something like that). Now, we stop scro...

Re: Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

Hi poetbox, I spent days on it - and the z-order keeps shuffling no matter what. I'm sure there's a math to it and its not just random in the way it shuffles the order, but it's not worth the headache - I decided to not minimize anything and instead paint a colored border around the active YouTube w...

Re: Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

Hi, yes, this one works! Thanks poetbox.. I hadn't looked closely enough at this topic to see your post (sorry!!!!) It's perfect :) On a side note I was having problems integrating "winminimizeall" into my code because it seems that every time that command happens, it shuffles the Z-order of the tas...

Re: Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

thanks a lot guys!!! I'm still playing with this. I promise to report back here once I get this going (or more likely don't get this going lol). What I'm finding is that when a window (or all windows at once?) are minimized, then it is somehow altering/resetting the "z-order" of all windows or somet...

Re: Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

Ok, maybe this is working now. Hoping this code will being all minimized windows back into their restored states: +z:: SetTitleMatchMode, 2 WinGet, id, list ,,, Loop, %id% { this_id := id%A_Index% WinGet, window_state, MinMax, ahk_id %this_id%,,, if (window_state = -1) ;this means the window is curr...

Re: Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

I tried this simple code. Pressing SHIFT+Z will minimize all windows on the desktop. Problem is, pressing SHIFT+X (or WIN+D for that matter) doesn't restore them. +z:: winminimizeall return +x:: sendinput #d return I'm thinking that pressing WIN+D to restore windows will work, but only if WIN+D was ...

Re: Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

Hi thanks, but wouldn't that just maximize all those minimzed windows I was hoping to just restore those windows back to their original states, sizes and positions on the desktop.. not sure if this is possible tho...

Opposite of WinMinimizeAll Topic is solved

Let's say I have 10 windows open. 5 are visible on the desktop, and the other 5 are minimized. Now, I use the WinMinimizeAll command. This minimizes the 5 windows which are currently visible. Now to restore all the minimized windows (now a total of 10), how do I do that? Pressing #d will restore onl...

Re: Loop through YouTube windows

can I ask one more question here: when using this code in a GUI with a button, why is it getting stuck on the first YouTube instance and not continuing to cycle through the rest of the YouTube windows? The hotkey method cycles through all instances, but this only works with the first press of the GU...

Re: Loop through YouTube windows

Trying a different approach here. This now works a little better, but it's getting stuck in between just two instances, and activates between them back and forth each time the hotkey is pressed, even if there's 3 or 4 other YouTube windows: flag= SetTitleMatchMode, 2 z:: WinGet, windowtile, List, Yo...

Re: Loop through YouTube windows

Thanks GEV okay so I adjusted the code to the following, and it looks like this works - but with the same problem: it activates all YouTube windows, one after the other until the loop is complete. I'm hoping to have it activate just the first one with when the hotkey is pressed, then wait for the ne...

Loop through YouTube windows

Hey all :) I really can't figure out how to do this: Let's say I have 15 instances of Google Chrome open at once (not good, I know). And that 5 of them are on YouTube, each playing any random video. When I press the hotkey, I want it to activate the first instance of a YouTube window it finds, so th...

Re: TaskBar List

..but I do actually have another question:

is there a way to have this list sort the items by their class? (so in other words all items are grouped together instead of scattered anywhere in the list)

Re: TaskBar List

whoops, nevermind!!! as usual, I figured it out after posting Menu, Windows, Add Menu, Windows, deleteAll WinGet windows, List Loop %windows% { id := windows%A_Index% WinGetTitle title, ahk_id %id% If (title = "") continue WinGetClass class, ahk_id %id% If (class = "ApplicationFrameWindow") { WinGet...

TaskBar List

Hello, I was browsing the forums and came across some code by sobuj53 which shows a menu of all items in the taskbar. I was wondering, how can we adjust this code so that it does *not* show any autohotkey GUI's in the list? I'm guessing it's a very simple adjustment but this is a little beyond my un...
