Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

I don't use the window cloning tool. If you use my mods then you reload the GUI via the file menu>>Import GUI The code would need to be created from that version of AutoGUI w/the mods to reload properly. I have a GUI I have been working on for a while that has ~100 controls on it and it reloads ever...

Re: Excel Com - Find exact match in cell Topic is solved

Thanks BlackholyMan - I was so close, it was a matter of how many comma's i had separating my parameters. To find an exact match this works just fine. This will return the row of the exact match in the cell range of A:A that match 5000 exactly. NewItemRow := xl.Range("A:A").Find("5000",,,lookat:=1)....

Excel Com - Find exact match in cell [SOLVED] Topic is solved

I've been googling and searching in vain for hours now. I'm trying to use COM to find a cell with a specific value, i have no trouble using this: NewItemRow := xl.Range("A:A").Find("5000").Row Which will stop at the first cell it finds "5000" in. Problem is it will also find any cell that contains 5...

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

I've some mods to the code and this is what I use to reload complex GUI's I build with AutoGUI. This what I have modified for ver 1.3.3a - the latest version as of this post. [CODE removed, requested by Topic author. For modifications/fork, please open a separate topic. Sorry for any inconveniences....

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

I jumped from v1.6 to 1.3.3a. When not using a mouse I used to be able to scroll the window up and down with swiping two fingers up and down on my touchpad, now that feature doesn't work. It still does in the earlier version and in notepad++ so think it maybe has to do with the scintilla component b...

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

Ok, so this is a great design tool which will greatly speed up creating GUI's. I am in the process of creating a program to organize and keep track of our CNC machines tooling where I work, which will include all sorts of goodies, but consequently will end up having hundreds of controls, hence why ...

Re: Method() setting values in array that never called it

Ok I believe I understand what you mean. I would only be calling GetTool() when I want to pull the tool list from a machine, the purpose being to reload all the tool information for the specified machine because it was most likely updated from the machine itself and I want to have all the new values...

Re: Method() setting values in array that never called it

Ok I believe I figured out what I was trying to do. I added this.Tool := [] at the beginning of the GetTool() Method to create an instance of machine.tool as an array and it seems to be doing what I want it to now. If I don't call the function for a specific machine, I cant get the properties for it...

Re: Method() setting values in array that never called it

Thanks Coco and Kon for the quick replies. Unlike your first example, the Tool property in the instance object has not been set Ok, so how would I set an instance for it like I have for the machine array? I have about 35 tool properties to set, like Tool.ToolID, Tool.Description, Tool.ZOffset etc......

[Solved] Method() setting values in array that never called it

I'm can't seem to figure out if this is possible or not or if I'm just doing this wrong. For some reason when I call the method GetTool() without making an array for multiple "Tools" it only sets the value for the Object that called it (in this case m[2]... which is what I would expect. My msgbox sh...

Re: AutoGUI - GUI Designer and Script Editor

First I would just like to say this is an awesome script and I truly appreciate all the work that must have gone into it. I have only been using AHK for a couple of months now, so I am still learning. I'm not sure if it's just me missing something, but if I save a GUI that I have been working on, an...
