Re: Converting wildcards to RegEx criteria with Wildcards2RegEx()

I edit the function to add the "i)" option making the RegEx criteria case-insensitive as are DOS wildcards.

Converting wildcards to RegEx criteria with Wildcards2RegEx()

Regex expressions can be intimidating for non-programmers (and even for programmers!). In Quick Access Popup , I wanted to allow end users to filter a list of files (coming from a database) using the old DOS wildcards * and ? that most users are familiar with. But I could not find how to filter a li...

Re: [Class] SQLiteDB - Update on 2019-12-12

Thanks just me for the quick reply. The error occurred on the system of one of my client. I could not test this new code with a "real life" error right now. But I'll add it in a future release of my app and we'll see if user reporting the a similar error would have more info from the ExtErrCode() fu...

Re: [Class] SQLiteDB - Update on 2019-12-12

The SQLite doc about error mention the availability of extended error codes: https://www.sqlite.org/rescode.html#extrc I found no references to these error codes in the SQLiteDB class code or in this thread. Is this somehow available? If not, could it be in a future version of the class? It could he...

It is possible by having your code itself send the end character using A_EndChar.
You make my day :-)

Thanks boiler!

By the way, please don't edit your earlier posts to correct things after seeing what was pointed out in subsequent posts because that makes the following posts no longer have the correct context and not make sense. I understand your point. There are pro and cons to it. Editing the title and post ma...

The difference is not using the Hotstring() function. The difference is using the execute option (X).
This is correct. I edited the original post. Thanks for pointing this.

But the question remains... Is it a bug or limitation of the "X" option?

Hotstring function with "X" option always make the "O" option active

Hi, In my tests, when registering a hotstring using the Hotstring() function and the X (execute) option, it seems that the "O" option is always active and cannot be disabled. O: Omit the ending character of auto-replace hotstrings when the replacement is produced. This is useful when you want a hots...

Re: Yearly vs Lifetime license cost?

Hi Sote, > I don't think there is any consistent ratio. The only rule of thumb appears to be making the yearly subscription price cheap enough to entice people to take that option as oppose to a "lifetime license". This is a good starting point :-) > An important thing to consider is the updates, wh...

Yearly vs Lifetime license cost?

Hi, Is there a common or average ratio between the price of a software lifetime license and the price for a yearly subscription? Doing some research, I found examples where the ratio was around 4x-5x (for example: $399.99 lifetime vs $99.99/year). I understand it must depend on the type of software ...

Retrieiving Windows 10 Clipboard History

Hi, Someone knows how AHK could retrieve the Windows 10 Clipboard History on the local computer? I first hoped this would be saved to the registry or some Windows system folder but, according to this blog post, it seems to be save deeper in some MAPI repository: https://www.michev.info/Blog/Post/256...

Searching here or enabling automatic.updates=1, I can't find a new release. Was it a false alert? Thanks for this great e...

Re: Ahk2Exe unable to create destination file
