Re: How is CryptAES() supposed to be used? Is this a bug? Topic is solved

I think the problem is that when the encrypted string is written on the .txt or when I copy paste it some characters are not the same, how can I solve this?

Re: How is CryptAES() supposed to be used? Is this a bug? Topic is solved

To make it short, let me write the steps: 1. I open the script 2. I press F1 This piece of code is executed: f1:: string:="testingstringthatcontains64characters123456885464562132132222452" VarSetCapacity(str, sz:=StrLen(string)*2+(A_IsUnicode?2:1)) ; Strlen*2 due to unicode StrPut(string, &str) ; en...

Re: How is CryptAES() supposed to be used? Is this a bug? Topic is solved

But the first string in the f1 part is a 64 characters string, doing 64*2 = 128 + 2 because terminator character in unicode = 130 For the f2 part I can't find the problem, I'm simulating the exact same as if I would have called f1 part first but for some reason the output is different, I know the pr...

Re: How is CryptAES() supposed to be used? Is this a bug? Topic is solved

The crash problem in the loop 100 comes from the StrGet or the fileappend command, nothing related to the CryptAES function.

Re: How is CryptAES() supposed to be used? Is this a bug? Topic is solved

Thanks for the answer, let me ask this to see if I got it right: f1:: ; prep string:="testingstringthatcontains64characters123456885464562132132222452" ;<-64 character strings VarSetCapacity(str, (sz:=StrLen(string)*2)+(A_IsUnicode?2:1)) ; Strlen*2 due to unicode ;<- This means 64*2=128+2=130 becaus...

How is CryptAES() supposed to be used? Is this a bug? Topic is solved

Using latest version Ahk_h v1 from GitHub. W10 64 bits. I have this script: ; prep VarSetCapacity(str, 128) ; Strlen*2 due to unicode len := StrPut("testingstringthatcontains64characters123456885464562132132222452", &str) fileappend % StrGet(&str) "`n", result.txt, UTF-16 ; encrypt loop, 100 { size ...

Want to change mouse Cursor inside GUI? Here is how

First of all, we won't be using OnMessage or a timer here, we are going to directly change the cursor for the gui. First: We are going to create a GUI gui, +HwndMyGui gui, add, edit, +HwndMyEdit backgroundtrans gui, show, w100 h100 I decided to add an edit just as an example. Second: We are going to...

Re: How to stop the entire process if a thread is terminated Topic is solved

Nice thank you!. Last question: If I have 2 threads, the main one and 1 created from the main one, how can I check if the main thread has been stopped/paused. I mean something like: #persistent SubThread= ( #persistent settimer, CheckMainThread, 100 return CheckMainThread: ; What to put here since I...

How to stop the entire process if a thread is terminated Topic is solved

Hello, as title says I would like to know how to kill the entire process if a thread is killed/paused/etc. There are tools to stop or kill individual threads and I don't want to let my users run the program removing an important thread, so how do I prevent this? Anything that closes/crashes/stops th...

How to assign a long string (around 2m characters) to a variable Topic is solved

Hello, I'm asking this because I'm trying to find a good way to do this. What I tried: var := "2m string" Fails because a line can only contain around 16k characters. var := "16k string" . . "16k string" . ... Fails because Continuation section is too long. var = ( 16k string 16k string ... ) Fails ...
