Re: IE Com with Multiple Windows

Sure, you can open two different windows, by creating two different COM objects. As for the clicks, you can simply do Winactivate to switch windows, then click the active window. Example: wb := ComObjCreate("InternetExplorer.Application") ;// Create an IE object wb.Visible := true ;// Make the IE ob...

Re: Automated testing: read multiple txt files with keys, but execute one per loop

It's very difficult to conceptualize what you want to do without concrete examples and/or the contents of your .txt files. Is it true that you want to do the following, in order: - Read line 1 of the file startcode.txt. - Execute this exact code, which I will call "beginning", on every entry in line...

; #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. SetTitleMatchMode,RegEx ; "substring" will work too ; #If (WinActive("Gmail") && WinActive("ahk_exe firefox.exe")) #If WinActive("Gmail") !j:: ; This creates a hotkey: when you press alt-j, the lines below are...

Re: If MousePos X and Y between X and Y, Do A Topic is solved

Okay, I really think the "if var between var and var" stuff is broken. I suspect the word "and" somehow turns the whole "if" statement into an expression, even though an "and" should be allowed in this type of non-expression. I removed the "between" stuff and turned it into an expression, and now it...

Re: If MousePos X and Y between X and Y, Do A Topic is solved

Okay, scratch that. What I wrote is probably true, but there is another problem. From the Help file: The operators "between", "is", "in", and "contains" are not supported in expressions. Your "if" statement contains an expression, because anything in brackets ( ... ) after "if" will be an expression...

Re: If MousePos X and Y between X and Y, Do A Topic is solved

I think you need to remove the second "if": there can only be one "if", the one at the beginning of the line. In other words, everything in your brackets together is the "if" statement. Even though one "if" statement can contain several 'conditions', it's still just a single statement.

Re: Web Scraping with AutoHotkey & COM Tutorial- GUI syntax writer and demo videos

pwb.document.getElementsByClassName("x-btn-noicon")[1].click This works. Apparently, when you try it with the "get ID" method, it gives you the text area on the button, but not the button itself. I think normally "click" on such a text area works, but not on this page. So I used "get elements by cl...

Re: FindClick() 2nd Edition Update

This is the updated script (presumably by its author, in December 2015) and the documentation (see attachment). Update: I see now that there was a link to the documentation in the script all along, both in the version above from 2013, and in the one below (look at the code). So now it is available o...
