Re: Visual studio Vs Sublime Vs Scite. Fight!

Sublime Text is very touchy when it comes to the syntax highlighting and overall work put into just using it. Hey, now I'm curious: what did you mean by this remark, exactly? I've tried to make some improvements to the syntax highlighting myself as well, such as marking the stuff after Msgbox as a ...

Re: [Function] FFToolTip: Flicker-Free ToolTip

This looks interesting, I'll try it when next I use tooltips!

P.S. Even after so many years, I continue to be astounded by how courteous and helpful everyone is at the Autohotkey fora.

Re: ToggleWindows10DefaultAppMode()

Looks interesting; what does this do, exactly, in laymen's terms? I am frequently annoyed by the way Windows 10 handles choosing what programme to open which files with, so I would be interested in any options in this regard.

Very interesting—bookmarked!

It might also be interesting to add some explanation of how fast the script will intercept processes to suspend them, and/or how it works.

Re: Screen clipping

Or perhaps the files Tesseract.ahk and Screen Clipping w options 5.ahk both contain a function with the exact same name. The error speaks of a function definition. So those two files are incompatible with each other.

Re: jNizM's Encrypt & Decrypt Text tweaked

Thanks for this, it seems to work well for me! That is, the text is encrypted into something, and it can decrypt that into the same text again; but I cannot judge as to how secure the internals are.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why the theme was changed in the first place?
Afaik, the forum software needed an update... and now customisations have to be redone.
OK thanks for the information. I look forward to seeing code formatting back eventually.

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

What's the purpose of getting autohotkey.net domain back, only for script storage? If yes, then just use git hosting services, they usually give 'more than enough' storage for casual users. Note: I'm not endorsing any hosting services in this list . So my point is, there's no benefit of paying $3k ...

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

We don't have a lawyer... Do you know any that could help us with this pro-Bono? I will read into this later tonight. I don't know any lawyers that would know anything about American law (which I think the domain organisation is based on, they using the term "common law"), nor about Internet-relate...

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

I believe one can own a common-law trademark without ever having registered anything. Read the quotation by the arbitration people in Jfergie's post above. Merely by using the name in "trade" do you have a common-law trademark, if I understand correctly. I think we might stand a good chance with the...

Re: list of AutoHotkey WM_COMMAND IDs (e.g. Reload/Edit/Suspend/ListVars on another script)

Very interesting! So I wonder, is it possible this way to get a list of all variables and objects that are in use by another script? If you do the ID_VIEW_VARIABLES command, is it possible to get a list and do something with it in the executing script (so no the script whose variables we want to vie...
