AutoHotkey Mini-Framework Release

I have written an extensive set of core class libraries for AutoHotkey. These class libraries can easily be installed and use in your current or new projects. I have called the Library Mini-Framework and is based loosely on .net/mono style classes. The Project can be found on GitHub https://github.c...

Reference Nested Object via string? Is it possible m := "Master.child"

I have a base class that call a must override method on the parent class. the issue is sometimes the parent class will be nested inside another class. I don't have full control over that part. m := "Master.child" childInstance := %m% class Master { Class child { static Name := "Child in master" } } ...

Re: C# Send message to AutoHotkey Script?

Ok I got around to testing this today. My solution is I have the AutoHotkey script write its path (A_ScriptFullPath) and running state into an ini file (located in A_AppData \myapp folder) on startup. I update the running state in the ini on exit of the script. In my c# app I read the ini. I use htt...

Re: C# Send message to AutoHotkey Script?

Thanks Lexikos. This may work. I will give it a try tomorrow. Most likely the C# Programs will end up in that same folder or at least in a relative folder. I should be able to know from c# where the script lives. I Mis-interpreted what Barney was saying. I had I stuck in my he meant to have the c# p...

Re: C# Send message to AutoHotkey Script?

Yes, I can find the hwnd in my script but how do I get that value into c# dynamically as the hwnd will be different each time the script starts/reloads. hence I was attempting to use msg.getWindowId("AutoHotkey", null); or some version of it in my C# code. I also tried using findwindow http://pinvok...

Re: C# Send message to AutoHotkey Script?

Thank for your reply Barney, Unfortunately this would not work. The AutoHotkey script runs in the system tray and reads from different template files and ini files. the AutoHotkey will react differently to various windows depending on the information it is reading from the ini and other template fil...

[solved] C# Send message to AutoHotkey Script?

I have been researching for hours now how to send a message from c# to a AutoHotkey script. I would like to have C# restart my script. I am writing both the C# program and the AutoHotkey script. I have implemented MessageHelper https://gist.github.com/BoyCook/5075907 and https://boycook.wordpress.co...
