Re: Remove focus (blue border) from GUI buttons.

I want to avoid messing with the default styles for now. I tried teadrinker's solution. It does work for when I minimize and restore the GUI, the buttons remain unfocused. But if I click a button, the focus is not removed, the blue border stays there. So I am half there. I tried various methods with...

Remove focus (blue border) from GUI buttons.

Hello I have created a simple GUI with several buttons. I dont use the "default" setting in any of the buttons when I add them in the GUI. The GUI starts with all the buttons unfocused (no blue border) by using the command: GuiControl, -Default, %A_GuiControl% Gui, Show, , Box https://i.imgur.com/zm...

Auto-start script in non-elevated mode?

Hello.

Is there a way to auto-start a script in non-elevated mode, when you load it from an elevated command prompt or file manager?
I know how to make it auto-start in admin mode, but I cant find anything for the opposite way.

Re: How to check if a simple array is empty. Topic is solved

Thank you for the help, all the suggestions work fine.
But there is one particular case that they dont work. When the array does have values but they are all empty.
For example if I have this Array:=["","",""], how do I check that all its values are empty?

Sorry for my ignorant question, but do I check if a simple array (Array:=[]) is completely empty? So far I have found only how to do it for associative arrays.

Re: How to interrupt a subroutine?

thank you all for your help, you gave some good suggestions. For now, I decided to break the subroutine into several groups containing the same repetitive steps and have an if statement in each one with the same condition which is toggled by another hotkey. so far it works well. thanks again for the...

I tried your suggestion, but it doesnt work. the subroutine will continue to its end, even if I change the toggle.

How to interrupt a subroutine?

Hello. I have created a long process of multiple steps which is triggered by a hotkey. It has this form: Send F2 Sleep 700 do stuff A Sleep 700 Send F2 Sleep 700 Send F2 Sleep 700 do stuff B Sleep 700 Send F2 etc etc etc This pattern repeats 20 times. it is not a loop, it is a long subroutine which ...

WinActive and RegEx problem

Hello. I am using this code for the GIMP window. SetTitleMatchMode, 2 if WinActive("ahk_class gdkWindowToplevel ahk_exe gimp-2.8.exe") But whenever the GIMP app gets updated, the exe filename changes to 2.9, 2.10, etc So I need to rewrite the same code but with regular expression: SetTitleMatchMode,...

Kaspersky window doesn't move

I am using the WinMove command to move the Kaspersky Internet Security 2019 window, but the window doesnt move at all:

Code: Select all

SetTitleMatchMode, 2
WinMove, Kaspersky Internet Security ahk_exe avpui.exe,, 500, 500
I gather KIS prevents any app to tamper its window.
Is there some way to force it to move?
