Re: Complicated Adobe PDF Acrobat Automation

With one word substitution and a "+^d::" at the top, that is the entire script. It might be a version issue. Due to my companies paranoia, I am only able to use AHK version 1.1.09.04. Could that be causing the problem?

Re: Complicated Adobe PDF Acrobat Automation

I replaced "getField" with "GetJSObject", and now I get the error message "Error 0x80020003 Member not found. Specifically: GetJSObject". Rather retrograde progress. Now what am I doing wrong?

thank you for the suggestion, though

Re: Complicated Adobe PDF Acrobat Automation

Alright, I have been trying to implement the code I found at the other end of the link. This is what I have so far: AcroApp := ComObjCreate("AcroExch.App") Part1Document := ComObjCreate("AcroExch.PDDoc") Part1Document.Open("~myfolders\SampleDocument.pdf") f := Part1Document.getField("Image1") f.butt...

Re: Complicated Adobe PDF Acrobat Automation

Wow, no wonder I could not find an easy way to do it. That is an involved work around. I have got to get access to that template, it looks like this will be much easier if I can have blank but specifically named buttons inserted at that stage, which I then attach the "icons" to in my script. Oh well...

Re: Complicated Adobe PDF Acrobat Automation

Thank you! I didn't think to cross-reference Javescript techniques, only COM commands. But now that you point it out, I can remember some comparisons of Javascript and AHK scripting doing the same task. I will give it a thorough read!

(SOLVED) Complicated Adobe PDF Acrobat Automation

This one is going to be a bit complicated. I am trying to create an Authotkey Script to automate the creation of case files for external audits. They ask for about 40 of them a month and we currently spend 10-15 minutes per casefile doing them by hand. I made the mistake of volunteering to try and a...

Re: How to paste, click and copy parts of webpage with ComObject

That would do it. I have only AutoHotKey 1.1.09.04. (Stupid Company App Store with out of date software ...)

Re: How to paste, click and copy parts of webpage with ComObject

Never Mind. I replaced the content of line 76 with. Somehow, that did the trick

StringSplit, langs, langbar_data, "</div>"

Re: How to paste, click and copy parts of webpage with ComObject

I know that I am coming at this a few years later, but I am trying to use the code as a template for what I wish to do. When I copied all of the text that Jodef posted, and saved it as GoogleTranslate.ahk, when I tried to run it I got the following error message: Error: Call to nonexistent function....
