Re: JSON - load and dump arrays to/from JSON - AHK v1/2 - 2020/10/10 - a122

Object() is for AHK v1 (just a mistake in the comments). Map() is for AHK v2. Map() and Object() in this context are almost the same, but for different versions of AHK.

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

Do you propose to transfer part of the script functions from server after passing the verification? For example, as a "response" from the server, and a script to catch the function through "WinHTTPRequest ResponseText"? Basically yes, but of course I don't know exactly what requirements or constrai...

Re: #DllLoad proper usage with utility class

If you manage to squeeze more performance out of scintilla with any method, I'd be interested :D I still have some experiments to do with custom syntax highlighting.

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

Botsy If you need the client to be able to run code from a server, then this is not so much an AHK problem. It's more of a "network storage" problem. Securely storing the login credentials to be able to connect and get the updated functions from the server. Or, maybe not even login credentials, may...

Re: #DllLoad proper usage with utility class

Ah good point. Funny, i've been thinking of getting back to scintilla myself... I thought your original script class had a way to pass a specific path already? Any reason in particular why it should be done through #DllLoad? __New(gui, opts := "", DllPath := "Scintilla.dll", Style := 0x50010000, ExS...

Re: How to save decode encoded binary to a variable?

So what does this other exe do? And does it work better if loaded from memory as opposed to Run / RunWait ? EDIT: I'm sorry to say, yes I have a concern for how this is being used. Just not sure as to why you haven't shared that information yet, and also unsure as to why this program needs to be run...

Re: #DllLoad proper usage with utility class

I would think that might depend on the DLL. Is the DLL meant to be loaded into multiple instances of itself? Hopefully the DLL is documented in a way where it is easy-ish to manage instances (assuming it is meant to be spawned that way). Maybe it's meant to be loaded once, and then a built in functi...

Re: How to save decode encoded binary to a variable?

pv007 So, hypothetically, what would happen if this embedded exe is made into a file.exe on a harddrive and scanned by antivirus? I'm still unclear as to why you need to embed this EXE, as opposed to just package it with your script. As far as what you misunderstood, after you use Base64Dec_ToFile(...

Re: How to save decode encoded binary to a variable?

@pv007

You misunderstood what I was suggesting, but that's ok. So what are you using this for?

EDIT: And why is it necessary in this case to load the EXE directly from memory instead of packaging it with the script as a separate file and just using a normal Run or RunWait command?

Re: How to save decode encoded binary to a variable?

@TheArkive When i try to decode using your function it says Invalid characters detected I tried with the same script i post before. Also, i have never heard about MCode, is it a kind of obfuscation? When i try to decode using your function it says Invalid characters detected That's not surprising. ...

Re: How to save decode encoded binary to a variable?

I suppose loading an EXE into memory could be a faster way to poll data/resources inside the exe, or even make repeated calls to the EXE faster then continually reading from the harddrive. Sounds like it could be a legit usage. As far as decoding Base64 to a var: b64Decode(string) { ; ==============...

Re: Script is supposed to loop but won't Topic is solved

To check the conditions that are terminating the while loop, add this at the end of your script: Msgbox Ending Results`r`n`r`nwhile (%currentNum% < %repNum% && %batchCount% < %batchNum%) Hopefully this will show you what is going on. Clearly one of those while conditions is not being met. This may b...

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

Botsy Anything is possible. What is the actual problem you are having? I'm still unclear what you are trying to do. I'm assuming your computer can execute AHK script. Is your intent to have the server execute this AHK script? Is this server meant to be only network storage? I really am trying to un...

Re: Event handler/listener for a control's state possible?

After more searching, what you need is a WinEvent hook. There are some scripts like this on the archived forums. Start with googling "Autohotkey winevent hook" or similar search phrase. EDIT: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/20714-tutorial-winevent-hook/ https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/32662-to...

Re: Event handler/listener for a control's state possible?

@Bodhi

In order to accomplish this you would need to hook into the WM_COMMAND or WM_NOTIFY events of the program. I'm not sure how this would be done currently, but that is the direction i would take to direct my searches in order to figure this out.

Re: AHK injection or converting to DLL

You question is quite broad, but it sounds like you are talking about AutoHotkey_H. There is an entire separate subforum for AutoHotkey_H. Check it out.

You can definitely interface with other languages and programs with AutoHotkey_H a bit more than standard AutoHotkey.

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

Botsy Can you give a little more information as to what you are trying to do? Based on the general info you have provided so far, there are several ways to go about what you are trying to do (if I"m reading it right). For example, upload a file with functions to the server and make part of the ahk ...

This is a very nice looking library. I am particularly interested how you are able to modify system colors for a darker theme without any special patching!

This is on my to-do list :)

eval() - string math expressions (in AHK syntax) - 2020/12/21 - a122

This script is for resolving string numerical expressions including parenthesis and mathematical (and bitwise/logical) operators. Currently Math() functions don't work. Tests/examples are included in the comments, and these show how to verify if eval() is calculating properly or not. I have tried to...
