Re: limit loop files & folders to an exact match?

If CustID is "A132" and no directory in "Q:\QA ORDERS\" exists that begins with "A132" than JobDirCheck isn't set at all so there is no *a* match...

Code: Select all

Q:\QA ORDERS\%CustID%*.*
You are processing folders, not files, why are you using "*.*"?
"*" is sufficient

Re: Prevent shell-context menu from appearing?

Thank you Capn Odin Unfortunately this is not about "ignoring" the right click (by immediately returning when it's used). I'm actually doing something inside my timer function when an item is right clicked but I don't want the shell context menu to appear afterwards. Sorry if my explanation was too ...

Prevent shell-context menu from appearing?

Hello, Is it possible to prevent an application (e.g. Windows File Explorer) to show it's shell context menu when an item in it's listview is right-clicked (without doing this in the registry!)? My script uses a timer (instead of a hotkey) to check which mouse buttons are pressed (and which modifier...

Determine if the current pc is part of a domain? Topic is solved

Hi,

is there a method to determine if the current pc you're working on is part of a Windows Active Directory domain?
A simple true / false would be sufficient, no further information is needed (what is the name of the Domain Controller you're authenticated with or anything like that)...

Thank you, but using an external application isn't what I really meant by "any method" :)

Faster way to get a folder content?

Hi, I want to retrieve the content of a folder (about 20k files / folders) and store it in a `n-separated list I know how to do it within a loop, but I'd like to ask if there is any method that accomplishes the job faster (than a file / folder loop)? I need only a.) The file names (with extension bu...

Emmmm, ok, I got it, old syntax is gone... Rewriting the example to e.g. SubStr() works fine

Re: Decompiling

Hello! Sorry for asking dumb questions but I'm new to all of this :) Can somebody give a brief overview (step by step) of what I need to do exactly to get a AHK_H version that is able to encrypt the source code of a project by using a different password than the default? HotKeyIt posted instructions...
