Re: Open source encryption in AHK

As I said, I suggest to create your own script with multiple steps and different algo, and use a custom obfuscator, don't forget that autohotkey embbed the source script... Also that will give a lot of job to your ennemy because AHK is not common, and that need to understand how the lexer work if yo...

Re: Good practice about other's code updates or re-use?

Also, if you want maximum protection but still share your code http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shared_source , but it is not compatbile if you just fork an open source code, only on free code (public domain, allowed by author). However, to rewrite is not a fork, that why to share and protect is enough ...

Re: Open source encryption in AHK

Dear lucas, all common encryptions and softwares are an half trap and focus NSA to you, that will just take more time to break or have a backdoor, behind every system they are a governement... Open source will don't say that is safe... For example why all common open source software use a hashkey SH...

Re: Faster built-in variable

Hmm, with my test that doesn't work with V2, but in V1 it is 3 times faster as you said : (sorry if I bother you with both version, and better to don't fix V1...) V1 1061 ms a_index V1 0327 ms (a_index) V1 0562 ms a_index << 0 V2 0967 ms a_index V2 0967 ms (a_index) V2 0468 ms a_index << 0 About a c...

Re: WriteMemory <~~Need some help~~>

Old post without reply, I try an idea, did you try to run as admin the game AND the script AND disable UAC ? (use a_isadmin after your run command, just to be sure) If you can read, then there is no reason to don't write, or the game is protected (it check and rechange itself what you modify, as som...

Re: Faster built-in variable

Hmm ok, I will trust you, I investigated with iteration, Run it for to have your own conclusion, a_index << 0 is the winner and I guess it is because of a pure integer return, V2 run 10% better on my computer but i+=1 is two time slower. Also I imagine that a_index have a cache system. It will not b...

Re: Faster built-in variable

For me the most important reason is about a_index, a lot of algo use intensive loop with this variable, a_tickcount too for time check, all in-built variable potentialy too. And a shortcut have to be faster by definition...
Maybe split is a good solution as HotKeyIt said ? do as you wish :)

Re: Retrieving non-junk string from WM_COPYDATA

If StrGet() with cp0 or cp1200 don't work then I don't know, maybe reread http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms649011.aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms649010.aspx to be sure you create use and get WM_COPYDATA without mistakes. Re: Some untraceable (math based?) issue with cipher functio

I suggested to add a step to transform unprintable character to something readable like a tag. If you can't use `n or CRLF (0x0A 0x0D) then transform them to a </p>. it is like a double step or a preprocessing. Or you rewrite all and you manage all your string as a binary value and you add value 13 ...
