AHK Sock on Win 10? Or alternative.

I used to use AHKsock on Windows XP quite a bit, I held on to XP far longer than most people so when I upgraded I went straight to Win 10. AHKsock can be found here - https://github.com/jleb/AHKsock I would use example 3, which is a chat app, and would modify it to do whatever I needed. It's the onl...

Re: Touch Screen Keyboard

Hmm, strange behavior, I wonder if it's because of the dpi scaling? If I remember correctly, the four symbols are just text over the tab buttons which each are labeled with a period. It's been a year since I wrote this but I think that's what I did. Any text, when the buttons are on the side of the ...

Touch Screen Keyboard

I made this on screen keyboard to replace the one that comes with windows tablets. This keyboard keeps the standard layout while taking less vertical space. I have been sitting on this for quite a while trying to figure out the best way to allow customizations. Not sure that what I've come up with i...

Re: Hex Calc

And just because I was reminded about an old script... Cube Calc. Created using my old script Area as Control.ahk . This took a fraction of the time as creating it from scratch. Uses DockA to keep it all together and Eval for the calculations. The scripts, libraries and pics can be found in the zip ...

Re: Hex Calc

I’d think this could done with gdi as well. It’d be super easy with html/js/css I made this script years ago, using GDIP, where you could load an image for a background, draw the shape of your controls on the image and it would produce transparent windows over the background image which would recei...

Re: Hex Calc

That is interesting but beyond my level. However I'm going to study it and see if I can make it work in AHK.

It's the only way I could find to use the odd shaped buttons. Even if I used pics with transparent backgrounds they are still square. If the transparent corner of one button is on top of another button the transparent corner receives the click.

Re: Hex Calc

After looking closer, I noticed all *.png files have a height of 72, and in code you resize them to h70. This causes the edges to be smeared out. I tried with searching for h70 and replacing with h72 , which seems to clean the edges for me. Is there any reason not to do so?. No reason they can't be...

Hex Calc and Cube Calc

This is more of an experiment than something I expect people will find useful. It's an odd shaped calculator with hexagon buttons. Each button is it's own gui, all are linked together with DockA . Eval is used for calculating. The script, all libraries, and images can be downloaded in the zip file. ...

I can never remember how to do this. I have a list of dates I need to save to an ini file. The variables are date1, date2, date3, ect. How do I save the information to an ini file?

Code: Select all

	IniWrite, %date%%A_Index%, %A_ScriptDir%\Invoice_%A_MM%-%A_DD%-%A_YYYY%.ini, date, line%A_Index%

Re: Identify monitors and add to context menu

1. Yes, it's possible. You just need to change registry for this puprose. I see, Thanks. 2. See function SysGet I went back and looked at SysGet again but I don't see anything that will identify the monitors when in mirrored mode. In fact, when in mirrored mode, SysGet only sees one monitor. Even i...

Identify monitors and add to context menu

These are two unrelated questions other then they both involve invoking a Windows command. These are not even for the same project but both have come up recently and peaked my interest. I haven't found anything by searching so hopefully someone here will know. 1. Is it possible to use AHK to edit co...

Re: PotPlayer x64 Function Library

- Media Player Classic is one of most powerful media players out there, and plays very nicely with AutoHotkey for automation, anybody who uses a media player or AutoHotkey should try it out. I do have MPC HC but still prefer VLC. I wrote a MPCHC library quite a while back and just reposted on these...

Media Player Classic Home Cinema Library

Since it was brought up in another thread I thought I would repost my Media Player Classic Home Cinema library from the old forums. Uses SendMessage so the player does not need to be active to receive commands. A list of all available commands, at least at the time it was written, are located at the...
