Re: Autocopy selected text and auto paste in word

Okay try this. Make sure wordpad is maximized. Number = 0 ; select text and then click q q:: ; change q to whatever character you want to trigger the script. You can also search for modifiers. Send, ^v ; copies the selected text Number++ ; adds one to the variable 'Number' which is responsible for w...

Re: Autocopy selected text and auto paste in word

Quick sub-question: ~^ & c::, does that hotkey allow ctrl+c's native function or just ctrl's? (tilde and ampersand modifiers) Okay if it was not an explorer hotkey. Probably what you can do is set ctrl c as a hotkey (wait I think you cannot do that because it's an explorer hotkey?) and then use clip...

Re: Cancelling hotkey actions

I don't understand why you put all those Exits everywhere. Anyways I had a similar situation what I did was put a line for stopping the routine if cancelled after ever single line but I'm sure there is a better way.

Try. Should work as you mentioned, let me know if it doesn't.

Code: Select all

~Rbutton::
Send, {\ Down}

Loop {
sleep 100
Send, {[}
GetKeyState,  state, Rbutton,
if state = U
break
}
return

~Rbutton UP::
Send, {[ Up}

esc::ExitApp
;closes script
return

Yea but I still use groove. There's no reason for me to switch either way because it makes virtually no difference at least to me. I just browse stored songs thaz it.

Re: Fix my script (simple) Topic is solved

Make sure the path to the image file is correct and that the image has a good quality: if you can, don't use lossy jpg, but rather lossless formats like bmp or png. On the other hand, there is also the *n option to allow color variation, if needed. You could also try If ErrorLevel = 2 msgbox, Image...

Re: Fix my script (simple) Topic is solved

No, indenting is only to make the code more comprehensible for the reader. I just wasn't sure how you meant it, because the return didn't make sense here, neither in the if block, nor outside. Okay that makes sense I guess I was a little confused with that concept. Also what is the default for imag...

Re: Fix my script (simple) Topic is solved

So I need to put exitapp and return inside parenthesis? Gotcha Well, if you want more than one conditional line - yes, use code blocks. Here, my point was rather that your indentation was misleading and more importantly that a return at this point of the script doesn't make much sense: * If return ...
