Re: LibCon - AutoHotkey Library For Console Support

I know this is quite the old topic, but would anyone here know how I can continue to use an ActiveX control without it freezing/crashing because of a "read input" command causing the whole script to freeze?

Your UIs remind me of Source Game's UI windows. Looking all minimal and dark.

I saw the image you posted and was going to say that I really like the style of your GUI (don't love the colour though), then I saw your comment lol.
Yeah, I wish lol

Is there a way to close the script without having to use the tray menu? If I try to close the window it'll just pop back up again. I suggest looking into this: GuiClose

Re: FileSelectFile's Filter parameter question

This has more to do with what the user specifies in the Edit box at the bottom of the dialog. You can check if the user specifies a file extension by using SplitPath.

Re: Escaping quotes and hash character

AHK tends to have a bit of a lazy day when it comes to using escape characters, and double quotes are no exception. To put it simply, double quotes, turn into quadruple quotes. It's weird, makes no sense, and annoys me to high hell, but I got used to it by having my editor highlight certain escape c...

Re: I got error color in SciTE4AutoHotkey

If you wouldn't mind hosting the screenshot to a new website, such as Imgur for a better resolution.

As for the syntax error, this is the demo for syntax highlighting in SciTE2AHK. This would, of course, provide an understanding to the user for what they can tell the differences between.

Little tip for next time, the "code" block tag exists for a reason :P

Looks cool, but you can definitely minimize a lot of this code. Even allow the user to add their own log ins if they'd like!

MouseClick and PixelSearch parameters are not expression enabled. I.E. they must be in numbers or calling the variable like so:
MouseClick, Right, % PixX, % PixY, 1, 3

Try closing all of the AHK scripts that you have running, then try to run the script and see what happens.

Re: Tray Icon Loading Issues

This seems less of an issue with GDIP and more with AHK's Working directory.
SetWorkingDir, % A_ScriptDir is a good way to start with this problem.

EDIT:
If anything, you should try for a If (FileExist("clockfile.bmp")) for a precaution.

Re: Is there any way to create a function dynamically? Topic is solved

As of currently. No. Functions are set in stone as it is.
You can, however, CALL the function dynamically:

Code: Select all

CallFunc := "FunctionNames"
MsgBox, % [CallFunc]()

FunctionNames() {
	Return, True
}

Re: Need help disabling windows key with no modifier

With the changes in 1.1.27.0:
Docs wrote: The hotkeys ~LWin:: and ~RWin:: no longer suppress the Start Menu. See #MenuMaskKey for details and a workaround.
You must now use this:

Code: Select all

#MenuMaskKey, vk07
And please put your questions for help in the Ask For Help subforum.
Thank you.

This really isn't that useful, sorry to be honest. If you'd like to use this, fine by me, but I will say, this would be more useful: ; Saves the clipboard to a new script file on the desktop.
