Single Instance directive not allowing delimiters

Title says it all.
I'm getting this error:
05-03-2018 16.46.png
05-03-2018 16.46.png (4.65 KiB) Viewed 965 times
I don't know why it says this, and if I remove the delimiter, it will work like normal again. I don't think I understand.
Yes I have read the docs, but nothing comes up about being picky for delimiters.

Re: Window Spy (My Edit on the already made script)

Hello Delta Pythagorean I've just tested your addendum and the feature for exporting into notepad is a very good idea. Unfortunately the title of Microsoft notepad changes from locale to locale, so that the title you coded, is not matching on every locale. In Germany, the title is not Untitled - No...

Window Spy (My Edit on the already made script)

Window Spy Following the 1.1.27.00 update of AHK, there was a script released with the installation of AHK, said file is called WindowSpy.ahk . This script is already quite useful being taken from the compiled version of AU3 Spy, but I've decided to take the liberty to add on to it and even change ...

First thing I must say, is that this is the Scripts and Functions section. If you have any questions, please post in the Ask For Help subforum.
Second, I suggest using a ComObj to connect to MS Excel. It will connect to all versions of Excel (AFAIK).

Re: Script used to work, now doesn't although unchanged

I have a few things to suggest. SetTitleMatchMode and Loop SetTitleMatchMode allows to change the way AHK searches for the window to work with, just click the link above to learn more. Loop allows to do the same action multiple times. Shortening the script a bit and allowing an easier way to change ...

what does this code do? Would you expect me to read the source code for Windows to learn how Windows works? After having written code for over 40 years, I've learned the value of documenting what I write--even when it is only for myself. Especially when that 40 year old code still works perfectly f...

Re: Scroll Explorer on middle mouse button drag

Well, I'll tell you one thing; Instead of doing something like this: If (Var = "Info") || (Var = "Data") || (Var = "Name") Do something like: If (Var ~= "i)Info|Data|Name") ; 'i)' means that it ignores the case and looks for the characters (Lowercase or upper) It's short, simple, and quick to manipu...

Depends on what you're doing and the strictness of games/websites/programs. It all depends on the developer/admin/owner of whatever you're doing.

Re: Getting portable AHK to run

If you've extracted all of the contents, there's no reason to run Install.ahk. Just run a .ahk script with the corresponding .exe for AHK and you're good to go. When you run Install.ahk, it asks for admin rights. You can allow to use admin rights, but it is not needed for some things. You can actual...

Re: Update idea: Tracking keys Topic is solved

That actually can be done already. You just have to save the time that the key was first pressed, then subtract the time that the user let go of the key. And you'd get your time. This forum is for things you'd think would improve AHK in the sense of what commands to add or change, or suggestions for...
