Re: Help performing a button press on IE

I don't really know why it isn't working, but I think it's a "problem" in the Google webpage, not Autohotkey. If you are just trying to do a simple search, then there is a better way to do it. Rather than entering Google.com, filling the search field and "clicking" the search button, you can directl...

Re: Cannot use a variable inside getElementById

Change this part:

Code: Select all

idstrg_appended = %idstrg_trimmed%_Sil
To this:

Code: Select all

idstrg_appended := idstrg_trimmed "_Sil"
That should work.

How to read .INI file's key values one by one?

Here is an exapmle:

Code: Select all

[Section]
Key=Something
Key2=Stuff
Key3=Dog
What I would like to do, is to read all the Key's values (Key, Key2, Key3) one by one starting from the very first key, and paste them one by one to a text file.
Is this possible? If yes, how?

How to manually obfuscate .ahk script?

How would I go about manually obfuscating a script? Would I have to extract the AutoHotey.exe and "rename" the functions in it etc.?
What is the best way to obfuscate an .ahk script that will be later compiled to an .exe file?
Thanks in advance!

How to compile .AHK script to .EXE without showing the code in the compiled version? Topic is solved

Pretty much what the title says.
The current version of AHK too EXE compiler provided in the installation does compile the script to exe, however when opening with Notepad and scrolling down, the code is visible.
Is there anyway to somehow hide the code?

Re: Click macro problems

Seems to be working fine with me. If it doesn't work, then it because of the program you are trying to send your "inputs/commands" to.

One variable for all controls in GUI?

Is it possible to use one variable for all/specific controls in a GUI, and then later on use that variable in a GuiControl ? Something like this: Var1 := ( Gui, Add, something here Gui, Add, something else here Gui, Add, and so forth ) Then I would like to use that variable in GuiControl to for exam...

Re: Click macro problems

Some games/programs have countermeasures against AHK and third party macros. It may be that the program you are trying to send a click to is in the same category. Show your script.

Multiple controls in ONE GuiControl line? [GUI] Topic is solved

Basically I want to put all the controls in one line, like this: GuiControl, Hide, control1|control2|control3
instead of having the controls in multiple GuiControl lines.
The above example doesn't seem to work. How to go about it?

That's correct. It would have been another story if you used an OR.

SetWinDelay to match parent GUI's time?

I have two GUI's, one parent GUI and one child GUI. The problem is that, when I launch the script, the parent GUI always takes less time to become visible. There is about 100ms difference in their "loading time". How can I make the child GUI appear at the exact SAME time when the parent GUI is launc...

YouTube Login using an embedded browser? [Active X]

The title says it all.. I just want to login to youtube in an embedded browser, but it doesn't seem to detect ie.document.getElementById("identifierId").Value := "Test" However, when I use ie.document.getElementById("identifierId").Value := "Test" directly in IE, it works. I would appreciate if some...
