Re: Multiple Commands on 1 Script

Hi, I guess by "activate program" you mean to bring it in foreground/focus. You can use WinActivate and WinWaitActive for that. (Check the AHK documentation). https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/WinActivate.htm If your cursor does not move quickly enough, you can add a 0. MouseMove, 817, 984, 0...

Re: For Experts: Why does AutoHotkey not Work in Certain Programs?

Hi,

I'm certainly not an expert, but you could try two things:
Either SendLevel, 2 or ControlSend

If you don't know these commands, I suggest you to check the AHK documentation in order to see some examples.

Good luck

Re: Why can't I change my Browser_Home key to an Insert key?

Good evening,

For me Browser_Home::Insert works.
Maybe you're not aware of the real function of the Insert key?
Just test it in an editor (or MS Word).

Cheers!

Re: help me please

legyster, have you actually tried my script and can confirm that this method does not work?
Of course you can put a loop around it, so that it checks the file continuously.

It seems the file gets updated all the time, so with the loop you will always be up to date.

Cheers!

Re: Control volume with mouse with pressed wheel

Hi and welcome, Sounds a bit unorthodox (to use I mean). Anyway, try this: ~mbutton:: while GetKeyState("mbutton", "P") ; While mbutton is pressed: { wheelMode = 1 ; Enable this wheelmode } wheelMode = 0 ; Disable it return #if wheelMode = 1 ; Only if mbutton is pressed: WheelUp:: Send {Volume_Up} r...

Re: Wait for Chrome to finish loading Topic is solved

Hello, Normally there is a cycle icon next to the address bar. (It's usually the button which you can click to reload the page) An idea is to make a screenshot of this button and to use AHK's ImageSearch. https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/ImageSearch.htm Probably you will have to loop until E...

Re: Make the script work only in a specific window

Hi, Example: #if WinActive("ahk_class Notepad++") 1:: MsgBox, hello return #if The MessageBox will only appear if you press 1 AND if you are in Notepad++. Replace Notepad++ by your actual application. Right click on the running AHK script (Green icon in the taskbar), go to "Window Spy", click on you...

Re: Search for either image, click on the one found Topic is solved

Hi and welcome. Are you sure it does not click on the right image? ImageSearch's x and y is usually point 0 and 0 of the image (left upper corner). It may look wrong to you, but it isn't. You can adjust your click code line: Click, %x%+10, %y%+10 Also, I do believe your second click line is independ...

Re: Multiple commands under an 'if' statement Topic is solved

I believe the answer is no.

However, you could add just a function under
IfMsgBoxYes.

Inside of your function you place your code lines.

Cheers!

Re: Command to rename selected file or folder

Hi, When you use this command: $F2:: there won't be a problem when your AHK script contains the line: Send {F2} Example: F2:: MsgBox, hello return F3:: Send {F2} return In that case, your F3 script will trigger the code which is inside of the F2 routine. $F2:: MsgBox, hello return F3:: Send {F2} ret...

@David1484:
Any error message or did just nothing happen?
You'll probably only have to fix the CoordMode, as gregster said.

@gregster:
Thanks for the array hint, I'll remember this.

Re: Help with Else If

Hi David, you can also create an array with all the target pixels inside of it. With a for-loop, you search for all pixels. Try this: ;Pixelsearch-Array #SingleInstance force ; For just 1 instance, overwrite existing one F1:: CoordMode, Mouse, Screen pixelArray := [0xFFCC66, 0xFF66FF, 0xFCE839, 0xED...
