Re: 32 Bit or 64 Bit?

Thanks guys, as usual you have been very helpful. I think that this gives me enough info to recommend the 32-Bit version. - but I rarely compile. I haven't bothered with compiling any scripts since at least 2017, the false positives left a bad taste in my mouth and I just don't want to waste a secon...

Re: 32 Bit or 64 Bit?

Thank you for the input.

If someone compiles a script while using the 64-Bit version, can a person using a 32-Bit OS run the script?

Thanks, but I would rather understand how to write the code so I don't get the warning.
If you are using #Warn, just declare your variables.

32 Bit or 64 Bit?

I'm currently getting ready to do a new series and one of the first topics will be installing AHK. So the question is which one should I recommend people get? I had recently reinstalled AHK and had gone for the 64 bit version, but soon after I was working with maestrith on something and he wanted me...

What is up with this?

Code: Select all

Gui 2: Show, x%PosX% y%PosY% h190 w250, Programslut!
This causes the second window to follow and be placed on top of the main window (with an offset +20)
That's not what I was referring to. :silent:  :silent:

Change:

Code: Select all

Gui 2: +AlwaysOnTop
To:

Code: Select all

Gui 2: New, +AlwaysOnTop
***Edit***

What is up with this?

Code: Select all

Gui 2: Show, x%PosX% y%PosY% h190 w250, Programslut!
Is that a typo?

Onimuru OK  It's a nice class, but it doesn't exactly allow this tool to change the color+ on the fly. That is what the gui does ;) In a case like this (this tool) I don't really see a need to do more than just replacing the old brush and pen with a new one. If anything, I might do something l...

Thank you, Hellbent!
No problem.

For better results, you may want to look at using a layered window. Winset, Transcolor can cause some issues with gradient antialiased edges on rounded corners. Anyway, just something to consider.
