Re: Directive if question (#IF) Topic is solved

Seems to work for me.

Code: Select all

#SingleInstance,Force

language := 1

Numpad1::   ;< swap
	language := (language=1)?(2):(1)
	return

#if (language = 1)
a::b

#if (language = 2)
a::c

#if

Esc::ExitApp

Do you have other code not shown?

Re: how to measure time between button down and button up?

Just a little heads up. This line here is not doing what I assume you think it's doing. while (!q) ;<---- here you are saying that while a variable named q has no value I think you want. While(!GetKeystate("q")) ;<------ loop until you press q (in your case q is your exitApp hotkey so it doesn't mat...

Re: Hotstring reliability in specific program

I never use hotstrings so...

Yeah, no clue if this would work, but might be worth taking 30 seconds to try and see.

Code: Select all

::om::
	TempVar:=ClipboardAll
	ClipBoard:="I made an order in the chart for this."
	ClipWait
	Send,^v
	Clipboard:=TempVar
	return

Re: how to measure time between button down and button up?

Re: how to measure time between button down and button up?

Try this to measure how long the Up arrow button was held down: Up:: StartTime := A_TickCount Up up:: MsgBox, % A_TickCount - StartTime " millis" Wouldn't the first hotkey in this case fire over and over resetting the start time? Might need to add something like this. Up:: If(!Active){ StartTime :=...

Re: Detect colors similar to another color?

You have a few errors in your code. similarcolor(color){ //check if current color is similar enough to given color ;<--------------Not a valid comment Use " ; " targetColor=color ;<---------------------------- Here you set the target color to be the word "color" when you want it to be the value in t...

Re: Detect colors similar to another color?

I'm not sure if this will be of any help to you, but here is a pre-made Pixelsearch script. https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=60949 I will always advocate for learning how to do it yourself, but sometimes you just want to get to the goal and not deal with doing everything in betw...

You seem to be implementing it through the g-Label of the Text control, right?
Yes that's correct.

A_AhkUser Thank you for your time on this topic. I have been over your last reply twice so far in the last week. Some things are clear, others just don't have relateable context to me yet (nothing to be done about that). I have this page saved and will re-read it a few more times to let it sink in....

Re: Pixelsearch visible but inactive window.

Get the position of the window you want to search (x,y,w,h) and use that as your x1,y1,x2,y2 positons in your pixel search

x1:=x
y1:=y
x2:=x+w
y2:=y+h

Re: Delete Object key - How? Topic is solved

Thank you! No problem. ... Or if you want to save space... Save Space? (In the array or AHK-program?) I get the result I want, in both examples. Just reduce the number of lines of code. If it didn't add that in someone else would surly be along shortly to do it lol. What does this instruction do? I...

Is this what you're trying to do? Index:=InputData.Length() Loop,% InputData.Length() { If( StrLen(InputData[Index]) < 1 ) InputData.RemoveAt(Index) Index-- } Or if you want to save space. Loop,% Index:=InputData.Length() (StrLen(InputData[Index])< 1)?(InputData.RemoveAt(Index--)):(Index--)

Re: Is it possible to open a GUI window via a link control? Topic is solved

If you're talking about launching a gui you made from another gui that you made, then yes. it's super easy barely an inconvenience. Here is a simple example. You can get fancy with having the "Options" text change color when you mouse over it too. (requires a bit more effort, but not at all hard to ...

@Hellbent Wow that recorder looks deffinitely promising! I was using ffmpeg script for that, but this saves using external programs for the task! For me the recorder is a must. OBS (or any other recording software I've tried) often has a hard time on my computer just recording the scite editor let ...

Re: [Editor] Gdip Bitmap Maker

If it's not a bother, could you provide a copy of that recording script you used? It is still in early development, just cramming in new things as I have been going along so there is no order to the ui yet, and there is still a number of features that need to get coded in. If you use the "Use Ram" ...

Example of using v0.1.7 to create a simple custom Switch (Checkbox) and then coding it into a class for easy use in a gui.
