Re: Loop, Files with If statements. Need help with file pattern. Topic is solved

Try doing If(RegExMatch(A_LoopFileName, "SelectedText.*.txt")) and If(RegExMatch(A_LoopFileName, "panel-.*-image-.*")). .* in a RegEx pattern is a wildcard.

Re: Cannot figure simple fix for funnction

You say that it gets stuck "as if encountering a 0." You should add a msgbox, %var% to see if it really is 0 or if it's something else.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with the code that you shared or any way for it to get stuck. You must not be sharing all of the relevant code.

Re: Convert inputbox to Gui edit box Topic is solved

Thank you ! That puts me in the right direction I think. It's not 100% what I meant but now I have something to build on. If I have any further questions, I'll report back :-) Ah, yeah, I overlooked that you want to hide the word while they're typing their answer. Here's it with that, if you haven'...

Re: Convert inputbox to Gui edit box Topic is solved

I think that this is what you want: ButtonDictee: Gui, 2: +AlwaysOnTop +OwnDialogs FileSelectFile, Dictee, 1 ,, Selecteer dictee, *.txt if ErrorLevel = 1 { MsgBox, 4096, Fout, Geen bestand geselecteerd ! return } LineNum := 1 ; Initialize the line number variable FileReadLine, Woord, %Dictee%, %Line...

Re: Convert inputbox to Gui edit box Topic is solved

Your Gui, 2: Submit, NoHide line is out of place. Move it to the top of the OkButton subroutine, since you want to submit the answer when the OK button is pressed. If that's not enough to fix the issue, it would help if you'd assign some sample data to vDictee instead of using FileSelectFile, since ...

Re: How to make ComboBox variable Topic is solved

You're welcome. BTW, I made a tiny mistake. I didn't put quotes within the If statement. It should be If(DateTimeBox = "Month-Day-Year"). I've fixed my post above.

Re: How to make ComboBox variable Topic is solved

It looks like you're on the right track, but with a few problems (the position and usage of the FormatTime lines and what you're sending). I think that this is what you're meaning to do: Gui, Add, combobox, vDateTimeBox Choose1, Month-Day-Year|Month-Day-Year-Time Gui, Add, Button, gsave, Save Gui, S...

Re: Gui text not wrapping fully

Look up GUI Styles in the help file. In the styles common to all controls, there are some options for appearance. Also, in the styles specific to Edit boxes, there are some options for multi-line behavior that might be helpful.

Re: Can I make hotkey to get the browser full-screen?

I doubt that you could find something that would work on every website, since there are literally dozens of different players. There's a reason, after all, why video downloader sites and extensions support some websites, but not all. You might have to do similar to what they do and figure out the be...

Re: FileSelectFile focus to different elements

You can accomplish that by setting a timer, since timers continue to run while other threads are waiting:

Code: Select all

SetTimer, FileToLoadTimer, -100
FileSelectFile, FileToLoad, 1, %FtpTempDir%, Load a file, *.log
Return

FiletoLoadTimer:
    WinWaitActive, Load a file
    Send, +{Tab 2}
Return

woah, thank you very much! cant believe i made such a simple mistake over there, everything works like it should have now :D You're most welcome. Re: loop not working Topic is solved

Variables inside functions are local unless you declare otherwise, so your function thinks that you're referencing a local variable named RunLoop, which is unset and fails the While check. Simply add global to the top of your functions, like so: ;Mining Loop RunMiningLoop() { global ... } DoMining()...

Re: Gui with Tabs: How to make gosub case-sensitive?

I don't think that you can. You may need to create a middleman subroutine that checks the case and routes to the appropriate subroutine.

Re: Run folder not properly setting keyboard input to filenames

When I tested with the Run command, it set the focus to the files (such that pressing a key jumped to the first file or folder starting with that letter). This was on the 1809 release of Windows 10. FWIW, there's also the "explore" verb that AHK supports (i.e. Run, explore "c:\users\eloyd\dropbox" )...

Re: Run folder not properly setting keyboard input to filenames

The Run command can output the PID of the launched program, but it's blank when it's not launching an executable, so it does you no good here. I'm not sure how you would differentiate between different open Dropbox folders with the same title.

Have you tried sending one or more {Tab} presses to get the focus on the folder view? !+D:: Run, "C:\Users\eloyd\Dropbox" SetTitleMatchMode, 2 ; Set the second title match mode so that the window title doesn't have to be exactly "Dropbox" WinWaitActive, Dropbox ahk_exe explorer.exe ; Wait for the Dr...

You don't need to separate the down and up events. Try:

Code: Select all

^F11::
WinActivate, Create Purchase Order ahk_class SAP_FRONTEND_SESSION
Click, -1767, 133, 0
Click, -1746, 146, 0

Sleep, 100
Click, 323, 982, Left
Sleep, 100
