Re: Struggling with CAPITALIZATION Topic is solved

If you want a single 'f' to come out as 'F', simply use the following:

Code: Select all

$F::Send, +f

Re: Combination of keys and mouse click

This works:

Code: Select all

#If GetKeyState("r")
^LButton::Send {Space}
It simply requires thinking of it slightly differently: as pressing Ctrl+LButton while 'r' is held down. If you add more hotkeys after that, though, make sure that you add #If on a line by itself to disable the 'r' key condition.

You honestly can't expect any of us to help you cheat at a multiplayer game. People like you using scripts like that to cheat takes fun out of online games for everyone else. Hopefully, no one has the poor sense to help you out.

Try calling GetKeyState for both Ctrl and R.

Code: Select all

If (GetKeyState("Ctrl") and GetKeyState("r")) {

Re: shift hotkey combination not working - please help

Even though it wasn't a scam, rolling your system back with System Restore could still fix it. You'll lose any good tweaks that Microsoft made, as well as your own, but it might fix the keyboard.

Re: shift hotkey combination not working - please help

gregster has a point. I suppose that it's possible that a keylogger might've been installed (in order to capture you inputting credit card numbers and such) and it's not working right. If this started happening in the last week or two, I'd try using System Restore to roll Windows back to before you ...

Re: shift hotkey combination not working - please help

I've used and really liked a key remapper program called KeyTweak. I would give that a try, choose "restore all defaults" and, if that doesn't work, remap your keys in that, since that's what it's for more so than AutoHotkey.

Re: Duplicate script able to run from different location how to stop it Topic is solved

I just realized that Process, Close works with compiled scripts, but not uncompiled ones. To use it, you'd have to change it to, say, Process, Close, AutoHotkeyU32.exe, or whichever executable you have set to run your scripts.

Re: Duplicate script able to run from different location how to stop it Topic is solved

Have you tried adding the following to the top of the scripts?

Code: Select all

#SingeInstance Force
I'm not sure if that applies to the same script running from different locations, but give it a try.

If it doesn't work, you can try adding the following to the top:

Code: Select all

Process, Close, %A_ScriptName%

Re: Do Autohotkey scripts require running as administrator?

I'm glad to hear it. I wonder if you could keep the program from crashing your GUI by suspending it while the GUI is displayed. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/pssuspend In other words, just before showing the GUI, use the Run command to run PsSuspend.exe with the necessary p...

Re: Do Autohotkey scripts require running as administrator?

That code worked fine for me. My computer passed the test. It's not the code, but your system, apparently. Try closing as many programs and utilities from your system tray and Task Manager.

Re: Hover object and if color detected click

I think that what you want is the color before the mouse hovers over it. PixelSearch, pixelX, pixelY, x1, y1, x2, y2, 0x800080 ; The last parameter should be the color of the targeted pixel *before* it's been highlighted MouseMove, pixelX, pixelY Sleep, 250 Click That's untested. Increase the sleep ...

Re: Do Autohotkey scripts require running as administrator?

Have you tried disabling your anti-virus and any other anti-malware apps to make sure that it's not the problem? You also don't have the UAC settings in Windows set to the most secure, do you? Here's about the simplest GUI that can be created: Gui, Add, Text, Test Gui, Show Put only those two lines ...

Re: How do I store a LONG string as a variable?

Change your Send mode. From the docs:

"Unlike the other sending modes, the operating system limits SendInput to about 5000 characters (this may vary depending on the operating system's version and performance settings). Characters and events beyond this limit are not sent."

As the second link suggested, try adding the keys and values, anyways. It couldn't hurt. Also, check Device Manager (right click on Start button) to see what your touchpad is.

Try switching to SendInput mode. You can do:

Code: Select all

NumpadLeft::SendInput, {ctrl down}{alt down}r{alt up}{ctrl up}
or add...

Code: Select all

SendMode Input

Re: Do Autohotkey scripts require running as administrator?

No, they don't require being run as administrator unless you're trying to interact with a program that is running as admin or need to do system actions that require admin (such as copying to protected folders). Is your ham radio application running as admin? If so, then, your script needs to, as well.

Re: Hoykey stops working, doesn't work twice in a row

I don't know why that code doesn't work. You could also try: NumpadLeft::Send, {ctrl down}{alt down}r NumpadLeft Up::Send, {alt up}{ctrl up} or even: NumpadLeft Up::Send, {ctrl down}{alt down}r{alt up}{ctrl up} If I were you, I'd also test with a more normal key, since numpad keys can sometimes beha...
