Help With Variable Boundaries Topic is solved

Hi, Thanks for reading. I'm having a hard time coding for variable boundaries. What I'm trying to do is to get a hotkey to reset it's Toggle if the mouse cursor is around the center of the screen. Here's the relevant code I tried: #SingleInstance, force CoordMode, Mouse LowY:= A_ScreenHeight / 3 Hig...

Can this Gui be written with ListView Syntax?

Hi, Reading a post that I could not understand directed me to the ListView help file. I am wondering if this gui I coded could be written as a ListView gui. I suppose not, because it has a checkbox variable and 8 radios that the selected radio variable are both required further on. Here's the gui: M...

Re: Help with using variables in Sub names

I got a better approach to the second Issue by using If Hk2 is Integer ;and If (Hk2!= ) { I still need to figure out how to make the Gui Button associated variable value to reference to A_GuiControl without naming the button to this value. I tried using the option vHk and even creating another varia...

Re: Bar after Radio or Checkbox Topic is solved

Hi, Thanks for the replies. Hellbent, unfortunately using BackgroundTrans did not make the little boxes transparent to the picture here. Setting a color together with the picture showed they are transparent to the color only, with or without using the parameter like I did. I might have used the opti...

Help with using variables in Sub names

Hello, I managed to get a code to perform single subs from a previous code that would loop to all subs but I encountered 2 issues: Issue 1: The single sub button has to be named after the loop variable Hk value for A_GuiControl reference. Issue2: The Dereference does not seem to work without a varia...

Re: Bar after Radio or Checkbox Topic is solved

Here's the results of my test: The radio does show the little bar to its right regardless of coordinates. Adding an empty text parameter ",," reduces that bar by half, from around 20 pixels to 10. Addon coordinates are respective to that bar, not the radio position. Fixed coordinates placed the radi...

Re: Bar after Radio or Checkbox Topic is solved

Hi bud, thanks for the reply. I've seen your youtube videos showing this, but it didn't remember to try it. I used set coordinates like x10, x20, etc. I wish i hadn't changed my gui doubling the size of the background image so i could try that. I'm going to write a test gui with your insructions and...

Bar after Radio or Checkbox Topic is solved

Hello, I tried to make a few radio buttons next to each other but found that every radio has a little bar to its right that covers the next radio. Two commas for the radio text parameter shortens that bar by half size, but it still covers the next radio. Clicking the bar in front of the radio to the...

How to make a sub send a Brace?

Hello, I am trying to code several lines together to perform an external code. This specific task involves a toggle, so it needs to send the "If Toggle {" line with its Brace inside another Brace. Like so: If (Hkey%Hk%Iteration%XT% = "Toggle") { HKey%Hk%Toggle:= !HKey%Hk%Toggle If HKey%Hk%Toggle { X...

Re: Noob help with objects and classes

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm trying to learn Object and Class syntax.
The script works fine.
Thanks again and best regards!
EDIT:
Actually my objective is creating dynamic "Types" that can be configured and expanded from the fixed set I'm using.

Noob help with objects and classes

Hello, I tried to learn how to use Objects and Classes but found it above my noobish limited comprehension. Here's the code I'm working with: Hk:= 1 Hkey%Hk%Shortcut:= "H & " Hk MsgBox % "Hkey" Hk "Shortcut is " Hkey%Hk%Shortcut Hotkey, % Hkey%Hk%Shortcut, Hotkey%Hk% Hkey%Hk%Type1:= 1 Gosub HkTypeCo...

Re: Gui resizing variables Topic is solved

Thanks for the reply :) Finished it with a Height variable reset, a max height variable for the gui and buttons and a little offset for the borders. Here's how it looks like complete: MouseGetPos, Xpos, Ypos N:= 1 H:= 1 W:= 1 Gui, Add, Text, X5 Y10, Toggle`, Name`, Column (L/M/R)`, Line# (D to U) Lo...

Fixed With another variable translation. I wish I could get rid of those. They are everywhere!

Code: Select all

ScreenHeight:= A_ScreenHeight * W
If GuiHeight > %ScreenHeight%

Gui resizing variables Topic is solved

Hello, This code does not do what I want. I t is supposed to display columns until the gui size is the same than the screen height, then start another column and increase the gui width and replace the buttons to the right: CoordMode, Mouse MouseGetPos, Xpos, Ypos ScanCount:= 50 H:= 1 W:= 1 Gui, Add,...

Re: ImageSearch Coords Offseting Near Line End On Notepad. Topic is solved

Fixed. The logic of this problem is that it reads the line and collect the coordinates before the substitution. If a first substitution is lengthier than the substituted part it offsets everything to its left on that line :)
Created my own clipboard editor after finding the right command :)

Re: Removing Concatenated Variable Translation for MouseClick Parameter

Hi, thanks for the reply. I wrote a test script like mine is set, with the variables like this: HkT1 := 1 XTrig2 := 1 ;Gui, Add, Edit, X60 Y%Y2% H21 W140 vName%GuiN%, % Name%GuiN% ;Name1 = AnotherVar AnotherVarX = 55 AnotherVarY = 66 HKey1S1 = AnotherVar None of the MouseClick entries worked. Re: Removing Concatenated Variable Translation for MouseClick Parameter

Hi, Thank you for your reply. The problem was not related to the code itself but something like you proposed. An Image search had a wrong parameter that was setting off the script. Unrelated, I decided to change the scrip a bit today after having it mostly completed with the intent to make it faster...

Removing Concatenated Variable Translation for MouseClick Parameter

Hi,
This code works:

Code: Select all

HKeyHkSXTrig2:= % HKey%Hk%S%XTrig2%
MouseClick, , %HKeyHkSXTrig2%X, %HKeyHkSXTrig2%Y
How can I remove the variable translation?
Thanks in advance!
