Re: Barcode Gen - Create 1D and 2D Barcodes (QR Code , C39,

I ran a quick test and did not see any problem. I'll attach an image for input message 5. 5 is 101010001011100011101011101 right? 5.png No reading for that image. Both using Zxing Decoder (http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx) and another scanner i have on my Iphone. I do get a reading whenever i input a...

This is absolutely great, I guess I won't be using 3rd party software anymore. I will chip in code for Interleaved 2 of 5 , feel free to add it to your library. Excellent. Will certainly add it and credit you accordingly AlphaBravo  Just a minor question: i am getting no reading when the i...

Re: Barcode Gen - Create 1D and 2D Barcodes (QR Code , C39,

So what is a QR Code? QR Code stands for Quick Response Code, and it is a 2D (two-dimensional) barcode suitable for storing data into printed labels for later retrieval. The biggest advantages over 1D barcodes are that it can encode a lot more data than a regular 1D barcode (roughly 3kB of data can...

Kon seems to have answered it all right. So i'm just adding the double-quotes on b

Count me in ;) I'm not sure as for how much time i actually have, but i'm certainly willing to drop in some code to help. May i suggest you plan and organize the script based on the desired input/output of functions? That way it should be a lot easier for the members of the team to work on a non-fix...

Re: My 1st GUI!

Hi ErrorOnLine2. You mean "first gui" as in the first time you tried to create an aesthetically pleasant gui or the first gui at all? It looks quite like windows 95: I can see you were able to convey many of the functional aspects of guis into your creation, but it's quite not aesthetically pleasant...

Re: AHKv2 - Platform independent?

What do you think about this? Is it technically feasible? Looking at people which know AHKs source well: How much work do you expect from the basic refactoring, so that we can create platform specific builds? I don't know it very well, but i've seen it many times and you have tons of Windows API ca...

Re: AHK(v2) rebranding [Name Suggestions]

Gio, could you probably elaborate on the term "Apps". I do not really see how a plural form makes sense in a languages name. "I have written an EasyNewApps Script today." I don't quite see the problem. I have written a new script today with EasyNewApps. I have written a new ENA script today. ...

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHotkey Engineer

Charging a suitable price may not be a bad idea. I'm not saying it is necessarily a good one either, but we certainly have to discuss the matter a little more. :!:  Imagine if thousands of people decide to take the test. It would be loads of work! - Automated tests are quite the call for chea...

Re: AHK(v2) rebranding [Name Suggestions]

Great idea. I've always though that both AHK and AutoHotkey aren't really good choices for names. I know that "Hotkeys" and "AutoIt" hold true to the applications history, but if a rebrand is to be done, we should really take the time and choose a name that fits the general expectations of our publi...

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHotkey Engineer

The test idea seems to be very promissing. Specially after some more discussion on the specifics of it. Either way, i still suggest that any nominees for the certificate should first hand in a script of their own for the community to appreciate. I have two main reasons for this: 1 - It's a way for c...

The concept seems very powerful Blackholyman. Thanks for sharing.

By the way, are you planing on explaining the syntax a little more in-depth on each step? I think a newbie would have a hard time catching up what was really going on in that function.

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHoktey Engineer

That is a great idea. Total support. My suggestion: Nominees for such a certificate should share at least one complete application (written by themselves in the AutoHotkey language) with the community. Could be anything: a drawing tool to replace MS Paint, an audio file converter with support for mu...
