I am trying to replace color in an image to prepare it for OCR. To answer your question in part yes it is animation although not Japanese but the Chinese variety. As unable to tell the duration before hand and it being very variable can't really use the time option. With a GUI for example GuiControl,,Var, %TranslatedText% basically does the needed function. DefineBox() doesnt appear to set CoordMode anywhere at all, so its using Relative/Window, and CoordMode, Tooltip, ... affects, well, ToolTips only. Updated the question above with simpler code and more precise title as still unable to figure out why adding GUI breaks the PixelSearch function. I've tried other colors besides white as well but no luck.
