Coders Plus Plus

Hey guys, just started up a small forum designed for all programming languages. I am wanting to learn a lot about all programming languages, and web hosting also, so I started up a forum to learn both, lolz. I'm kind of piggy-backing off of a friend's domain currently, but in a few weeks, I should h...

Re: AHK(v2) rebranding [Name Suggestions]

Although I completely agree to 'Lexikos' as a name, the only reason I believe it wouldn't be a good idea is because it's almost like a slap in the face to Chris, who is the actual one who created this wonderful language. That's why I suggested C_Lex or CL; it honors both parties.

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHotkey Engineer

There shouldn't be a CAE if the test wasn't at a cost or else it would have no meaning to a professional business.

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHotkey Engineer

@thats true, no programmer knows everything by heart, if not, Bugs as we know it wouldn't even exist. I guess in that case, the tests could present a problem and you would then have to solve it with a script. But like the programming puzzles and competitions and such. The different tiers of puzzles...

You mean the back button on the browser? Or you can just open them in new tabs.

If you make your way through the tiers of certification, then sure! But, you have to be certified in the one prior before you can take the test for the next.

Re: « What's on your mind? »

Science is not about answering questions; it's about finding the right questions to ask. What excites a scientist more than proving a complex law is proving that our current established laws were wrong the whole time.

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHotkey Engineer

I would suggest have a 100 question test going over many different specifics of the certification. If the person had passed the test with an 80% or higher, they receive their certification. The certification would have to have a signing official (Lexikos?) to notorize the certification. Also, I woul...

So I was talking to somebody who claimed he did a lot of programming. I asked him what languages he knows and he said "Binary".... I just chuckled and stopped talking to him.

Hoosier myself, born and raised. ;)

I'll talk with my friend and set up a time, I'll let you know. Do you have a phone number I could text in case you don't get the message on this forum quickly enough? Or you can just text me, I gave you my number in PM.

Re: Forum Tasks Input and help desired

I am not sure on specifics. Where are you located geographically speaking? He has a conference number that we can set up a conference call to discuss it more personally with him as I'm not as server savvy. SSL isn't free, I apologize for not specifying was just mentioning it. Give me a good time and...

Re: Forum Tasks Input and help desired

For any reason, keep the simplistic look of this forum. I've always preferred the layout on the first forum than the previous one. As for mods and admins, I do believe that there should be multiple admins with server level access, but I also believe they shouldn't really take part in much forum affa...
