Re: [Class] CustomFont - Load font from file or resource, without needed install to system.

Hi tmplinshi,

Oh that looks great! I'll have a chance to try it this weekend and will let you know if I encounter any issue. Thank you very much for all your work on this and for your quick and impressive response to my request, much appreciated.

Re: Problem with edit and EM_SETCUEBANNER

Hi just me, Thanks for your insight, much appreciated. I'll see what kind of workaround will get me to a viable solution. The main thing is that the users may click on the gui several times per minute, and that leads to a whole lot of flashing (which can be especially unpleasant when the program the...

Re: Class_CustomFont - Load font from font file

Hi tmplinshi, Great work, this will be very useful for one of my projects. As I understand it, your "remove" function removes all loaded fonts. Would it be possible for you to add a function to which we could pass which specific font(s) from the list of loaded fonts we want removed (and have the fon...

Re: Problem with edit and EM_SETCUEBANNER

Hi just me, This is for a Gui with buttons and picture controls that is used as a floating toolbar to send commands to, for example, drawing programs. I've used this style extensively to make sure that the gui never steals the focus from the active window (as, for example, in my Toolbar Creator: htt...

Re: Problem with edit and EM_SETCUEBANNER

Hi wizardzedd, Since I can click in the edit and select the text, interaction with the edit is still somewhat possible. So I though it would still be possible to write to it. But you're right in that the problem is not related to the two styles: just having +E0x08000000 is enough to cause my problem...

Problem with edit and EM_SETCUEBANNER

Hi, Edit: It seems like the problem is with +E0x08000000 itself and not with the combination of styles or even the EM_SetCUEBANNER. Just having the +E0x08000000 style makes it impossible to write in the edit box. Is there any way to have the +E0x08000000 and still be able to write in the edit contro...

Re: Keep window active with GUI

Hi kayttaja, Your problem is not clear as you seem to be describing two different things. 1) Is your Gui hidden and then you press a key to show it? If yes, make sure you add "NoActivate" in your "Gui, Show" command. See: https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Gui.htm#Show 2) Are you losing focus of t...

Re: [Class] ImageButton

Hi just me, Thanks again for this fantastic script! It works great and I use it in most of my projects. Since creating buttons takes surprisingly (at least to me) quite a bit of memory (something like 50-80 Kb per button, as seen through Task Manager, which can add up very fast), I use the function ...

Re: Lintalist 1.7 Searchable interactive lists to copy & paste text with plugins

Hi list, Thanks a lot for Lintalist, the more I use it, the more I like it! I've been using shorthands to inserts text snippets and it's been working great. Is there any way to format the text that is pasted though? Specifically, is it possible to have certain letters of the pasted text to be supers...

Re: 360 Degree rotation (HP x360 convertible laptop)

Oh and by the way, in Win 7 there is no "tablet mode": you're just changing the screen orientation between portrait and landscape orientation. By comparison, there is actually something called Tablet Mode in Win 10. You can detect whether you are in Desktop or Tablet mode in Win 10 using the followi...

Re: 360 Degree rotation (HP x360 convertible laptop)

Hi meastwood98, See the code below. When the screen orientation of your tablet changes, you should see a message box appear telling you what the new orientation is. As the code shows, you can use OnMessage to monitor orientation changes. To detect the actual orientation, it uses HotKeyIt's _Struct c...

Re: Microsoft Surface Pro 3 pen barrel button customization

Hi Randy31416, Thanks for your work. This could become very popular as customizing the SP3's pen barrel is often requested. I may be wrong but looking at the code you provided, it seems you only show how to trap the taps but you actually don't do anything (customize or remap) them. Maybe I'm wrong. ...
